I agree 100%.

Yep. Just seeing the sun this afternoon made me feel a little better.

This is a real thing for sure. The snow on Sunday was pretty, but I am ready for it to melt and just have some 50+ degree sunny days for a while.

Serious tornado thread for downstate and western IL on Saturday. The forecasters have been on this for about a week in terms of rain/Tstorms, but the sever outlook continues to get worse and worse. Peoria Matt and possibly Don Tiny and City of Fools appear to be in the bullseye.

Huh. I didn't know Don Tiny lived out that way.

The weather reminded me a lot of the Washington tornado day.

We got lucky. There was a EF-1 tornado that was on the ground for 5 minutes but it could have been a lot worse.

It has gone from warm and sunny to overcast and stormy several days running. The hail lasted about five minutes. Now it’s just a slow rain. And it might actually be sunny to the west again.

Chance of some snow tomorrow. From 80 degrees to snow in two days.

At least 2" maybe 3" on grassy surfaces in Orland. This is some bullshit.

Yup. 3-5 inches in the SW burbs. In the boonies where (I think) Squirrel is, could be as much as 8" in some places.

Fortunately, it will all melt by Saturday afternoon, but this is still some bullshit.

Warning is for tonight. I was groggy when I looked at phone. I’m west of Chicago area more so than south. Probably close to due west of the tip of Lake Michigan. I’m still north of I-80 but i can see it.

there is a 40% chance to get more than 1" of snow along the woodstock, grayslake, waukegan line.

Lake County SMC is predicting 1.5"-3" for Lake County.

I think we are supposed to get up to 3” inches of snow tonight.

I’m currently watching my neighbor spread lawn treatment across the street.

And I needed to blow off steam, so what did I Do? Wash my car. Oh well I can run it through again this weekend and not have to worry about vacuuming it that time.
