Nope.

Buster Keaton is also on the Mt Rushmore of comedy.

There are plenty more to add to my list before I'd get to Step Brothers.

I'll throw Foul Play and Seems Like Old Times in the list too.

And Fletch
And Vacation

How can I forget the Pink Panther movies with the comedic genius Peter Sellers?!

Name the funniest scene in Fast Times At Ridgemont High. It's barely a comedy.

I think Step Brothers is very funny. The Will Ferrell and Jin. c Reilly combo at its best imho. I am not a big Will fab but in that movie he works perfectly and anchorman. I mean for me one of his favorite roles is the mortician in drowning Mona because it was a small role. Still step brothers works as a good comedy. As much as I am not a big Will Ferrel fan (I mean he is ok just not amazing) I do love John C Reilly. He is so good in the Hard Eight and Magnolia (he was fine in Boogie Nights too) but PTA gets some good stuff out of him.

Comedy movies are by and large limited to the era they were released in.

Tropic Thunder still holds up pretty well 12 years later tho.

Last of its kind. It will always be hilarious, similar to movies like Airplane!, there is just a timelessness to it.

I'm not saying I didnt smile and laugh throughout Step Brothers.

It's pretty funny.

At no point did it ever achieve the absurdity and hilarity of "There's Something About Mary", which I saw before all the funny parts were shown in trailers. TSAM had me almost in the aisle laughing out loud.

Watching a comedy in your home and not in a theater and expecting to bust a gut laughing is a recipe for disappointment.

Also, Pineapple Express and This is the End are great imo.

Watching The Night Before is a yearly Christmas tradition for my wife and I.

But Duck Soup was on your original list. The stench from that pick permeates on all your other picks.

Undercover Brother is a seriously underrated early 2000’s comedy.

Very ahead of it’s time.

Thor Ragnarok and Deadpool 2 are the best action comedies I’ve ever seen.

It's absurd to even consider the Marx Brothers garbage. They laid much of the groundwork for all future comedy. They were brilliant...and still hold up, going on 100 years later.
