Had the season not been suspended, I was thinking they were NOT going to get a deal done. Now? different story. Neither of them wants to be bearer of bad PR, so I do think they'll settle prior to Game 1 of regular season.

Most of Sinclair's regular network affiliate stations have deals that run out in August. Sinclair may as well wait until then and try and bundle it all together, and Comcast isn't going to do shit until players are back in spring training.

I think we'll find out one day down the road that the Rickettses were really banking on McDonough bringing the Blackhawks over for this venture, which, as we all know, he ultimately didn't. Even the YES Network was launched with the intention of being the Yankees, Nets, and Devils (though they never were able to pull the Devils over from Fox/MSG for whatever reason). A one-team channel is a hard sell, especially one that's not the New York Yankees.
