Here you go, billyshit.

Three seconds on The Google;

Quote:
Dr. Anthony Fauci told ABC News anchor David Muir that when it comes to the U.S. returning to normal after the COVID-19 crisis, "it's going to be different in different parts of the country, depending on a number of factors."

He also said there would likely be "some degree of modification" of behavior for citizens into the summer months.
https://abcnews.go.com/Health/fauci-tel ... d=70164631

The Gov of California has also said that he does not think there can be fans in attendance at NFL games six months from now.

?? frank needs to spend more than 3 seconds to get a response that is actually relevant to jet's ask

Frank's piece actually supports my argument.

Now the narrative has changed and I'm seeing more "experts" claim that we must remained locked down until there is a vaccine or zero cases exist. I'm not sure exactly how that would work or what would be left after it occurred.

Someone needs to step up and tell the truth that we cannot hide from this virus. And anyone advocating a 18-24 month shutdown of the American economy must be summarily dismissed.

I'm sorry but exactly who would you trust? Any federal officials, any non right wing media outlets? Twitter? We know that you are completely contemptuous of all local and state governments.

People are frustrated. The lockdowns were implemented to "flatten the curve" so hospitals wouldn't be overwhelmed. Now that the apex has been passed what is the wait for?

Government needs to provide a framework to have a functional economy in our new reality. No Pride, Lolla or Cubs games...fine sucks. But why am I still not allowed to work at my office?

hey fraty, can you define "resume normal business" because i sure as hell dont think that means "we cant go out"

this is fucking stupid, it's not a light switch, it will be gradually resuming some semblance of what normal used to be.

Jet, my point has never been to open things up 100% all at once. It definitely needs to start May 1st/4th slowly but surely. There literally is no reason not to have golf courses, parks, trails, and beer gardens (within reason, tables 10' apart etc) open by that point. Hair and nail salons can be open by appt only with limited seats available (i.e., every third seat occupied). Clothing stores and other retail stores can limit the number of people inside and limit hours accordingly. Those businesses have a right to require a mask upon entry, and I have a right to spend my money elsewhere. People also can choose to stay home if they are at risk or don't feel safe. All of these things MUST happen soon. I doubt they will here in IL. Hopefully people protest if thats the case.

You have said June 10th MANY times on this board. That is insane. If we are expected to wait that long, there can be no restrictions when things open up. Period end of discussion.

When people reference "Q" is that the CIA agent? It's not really on my radar but I do follow that wacky old broad that hangs the signs on the Kennedy overpass at Cumberland or Sayre on Twitter and she's often going on about "Q".

That's perfectly reasonable. The issue becomes how fast does the first lawsuit fly because FREEDOM when a private business says you can't come in without a mask. It's about liability just as much as about keeping safe at that point.

Another example Frank. You have dipshits like this that would run into a room filled with a cloud of COVID simply to own the libs. We as a nation can't be trusted to follow the rules.

Yes, Q is the poster. Some even believe Q can only be Trump himself.

While this might make sense in a macro discussion, a small business is always looking at their break-even numbers. Rendering 2/3rd of your capacity as unusable will not achieve this, it's less financially disastrous to not reopen.

Care to find another false equivalency? I agree with you. I'm just saying that stupid fucks like the Caller Bob and Hawk and Nardi's of the world will fly off the handle at the first sign of anybody saying they can't do whatever the hell they want on day one.

I get it, Sam. Those businesses can also choose not to reopen.

Or the Gov't might force them out of business because they can't reopen.

This is really a "rip the bandaid off" situation. It seems to me that would be the least bad decision we can make. Stop pretending like we can control a virus and start controlling the things we can. Like not enabling or demanding a masked society. Businesses will be hurt enough as it is with people choosing to stay home. But I don't see how we can keep demanding that a certain serf class take risks to keep us going on a minimal basis when the majority of us are cowering in fear and scolding others to "STAY HOME!" (except the guy who is delivering their food). It's not even fair. If we're "all in this together" let's all take the same risks and drive through this.

And this isn't some partisan political position. The first guy on this board to say "WE CAN'T DO THIS!" was noted Right winger Curious Hair.

We definitely need to cancel all sports and concerts, but Kirkwood gets to go to work. WTF kind of reasoning is that?

Given how largely unenforceable these capacity restrictions will be, can you guess how they are going to be enforced?

Karens. And people with axes to grind.

Given how largely unenforceable these capacity restrictions will be, can you guess how they are going to be enforced?

Karens. And people with axes to grind.

Yeah, it's like everyone is so focused on the admittedly serious health concerns that they've ignored the myriad damage the responses are doing to our society.

Serious question: Would you rather get a really, really bad cold that has maybe a 1 in a thousand chance to kill you or live in a society of masked snitches where you can't go within ten feet of anyone who doesn't live in the same house as you?

It's kind of funny that everyone thought Jordan gave a great answer to that question in the documentary. "It depends on how fucking bad the headache is." Most of the people who idolize him aren't willing to adopt his philosophy when it comes to this virus.

I honestly don't even know what qanon is.

Qanon is a conspiracy theory that a high-ranking CIA agent has been anonymously posting to 4chan, where he gives cryptic clues as to how Donald Trump is secretly working to expose a global pedophilia ring, which is run out of the basement of Comet Ping-Pong Pizza.

You know who I bet is a Qanon guy? Panthro.

When people reference "Q" is that the CIA agent? It's not really on my radar but I do follow that wacky old broad that hangs the signs on the Kennedy overpass at Cumberland or Sayre on Twitter and she's often going on about "Q".

I have to give the "The FBI Rapes Me" guy credit. He has been out there every single day of this shutdown.

All of these things MUST happen soon. I doubt they will here in IL. Hopefully people protest if thats the case.

You have said June 10th MANY times on this board. That is insane. If we are expected to wait that long, there can be no restrictions when things open up. Period end of discussion.

While this might make sense in a macro discussion, a small business is always looking at their break-even numbers. Rendering 2/3rd of your capacity as unusable will not achieve this, it's less financially disastrous to not reopen.

The online world is a different place. Nobody is saying "stay the FUCK home" to people in person. If they are, they are jackasses and summarily dismissed as such.

Yes, Q is the poster. Some even believe Q can only be Trump himself.

Is 4Chan safe to view or am I going to get a screen with an FBI notice? It sounds fun and funny

One day I was coming out of the Daley Center and I was really annoyed with something. I came very close to slapping that whistle out of his mouth.

I told you that a guy yelled at me for riding my bike "too close" to someone- not him. That was a couple weeks ago. People have gotten goofier since then.

A few things. I went to two state parks in WI this weekend. The trails were open, but they had all the camp sites, playgrounds, look out towers, etc roped off. Looking at the DNR site, many of the state parks are completely shut. Luckily, the shut down orders are being challenged now. Unfortunately, the PA Supreme Court just ruled that its governor has emergency powers akin to what happens in a natural disaster. I suspect other courts may rule that way.

It looks like it is going to take grass roots political pressure to end these silly rules.

Edit: Golf courses looked closed here too.
