He's the adventurist type so he said that he ate a lot of very "unusual" foods and saw all of the "Stuff" that the people consumed there. That BAT, though, would be pretty hard to get down methinks.

In my day to day personal and work life, I'm down to 2 actual people that still think is some overblown, "30,000 people die from the flu every year" thing. That number has gone way down in the last week.....

I'm not sure of the upside of being one of the last holdouts to accepting science and medicine on something like this, but in a strange way...I admire your persistence.

The playing dumb bit is really cute. The argument by people who aren't bootlicking the company line is this virus is not worth crashing this state's, country's or the globe's economy.

Don't see MANY virus "truthers". However, what MANY are beginning to realize the response and solutions to the virus and its effects are idiotic and make little sense.

Just looking back at my own posts in this thread, I'm struck by how much more faith I had in the legacy media at that time than I currently do.

One example is that I mention hospitals being "overwhelmed". At the time I believed they were. Now I doubt that such was ever the case except in a few very select locations. Regardless of what was/is actually true, I simply no longer trust the people reporting it.

What's odd is that you have people who are double or tripled vaxed with boosters who are afraid of unvaxed people. Are they under the assumption that only unvaxed people transmit the virus or that they will somehow get a stronger case of COVID from an unvaxed person? Neither of which is true to my understanding. People who have been vaxed still transmit the virus and there's no indication that getting it from a vaxed person lessens the symptoms.

I don't think they're afraid. They're drawing a line in the sand socially. It's no different than not wanting to be friends with someone who voted for DRUMPF.
