Yeah, they just fucked it up. Cooks may be finished.

invalidated simply by that opinion on the seahawks. They look like something an alternative pro football league would design

The Bears’ uniforms, though, are dull.

Yeah exactly, that 2nd rounder is huge. They coulda drafted a much better RB in the 2nd round than Johnson, and kept Hopkins. So they basically took an overpaid Johnson and Cooks, instead of a cheaper top ranked RB in the 2nd round and Hopkins. They screwed up bad.

CeeDee Lamb has always impressed me, but I would be down for something like this:

You guys should have traded with the Texans. The way they're going you could have probably had Hopkins and a second rounder for Jon Gruden's favorite visor.

They did. They got a 3rd rounder for Garreon Conley from HOU.

The RAIDERS are building something here, VF. Acquiring two WRs in a WR-heavy draft makes more sense than trading for a guy who wants a new contract.

The future is bright.

Idk, man. There's something about acquiring a known commodity in his prime over rolling the dice in the draft. I was only half joking anyway in my post - I don't even know if Hopkins was on the table for the raiders. Let's see what happens - if the raiders strike gold on like 70 percent of those picks then the future is indeed bright. You never know.

I understand. You have to factor in where the RAIDERS were with the salary cap once Hopkins became available . Plus, AZ has the luxury of a QB on a rookie contract. Much easier to trade for a guy who wants to re-negotiate before his rookie deal is up. I'm sure you can understand that point of view.

In Gruyock we trust.

The Seahawks uniforms have been top 5 for a while. Seattle with the Mariners, Seahawks, and old Supersonics have always had better than average looks.

I'm hoping for Lamb and a trade down from 19 if Henderson isn't there. Diggs, Terrell, or Johnson would be nice value at bottom of 1st/top of 2nd. Pittman would be a great pick. Ashtyn Davis would be a nice pickup in the 3rd. I'm hoping for AJ Dillon in the 4th. He would be a nice complement to Jacobs.

The fact that Hopkins wasn't on the table for the entire league is an indictment on the Texans.

Its a legendarily good WR draft, I totally understand loading up on second-rounders as opposed to grabbing Hopkins for most teams.

It even made sense for the Texans, in a way. They just did it in a baffling way. They really could have gotten a second and a third from someone, skipped acquiring David Johnson and not traded a second for Brandin Cooks. Then they have four top one-hundred picks in a pretty deep draft; I'd rather have four picks in the top one-hundred even if it meant no first-rounder than having only three picks that included a pick in the late-teens or twenties. Especially in a draft like this one.

It's unlikely 1 of these WR's will be better than Hopkins that get drafted in the first round let alone the 2nd or later.

Yeah but its a salary cap league and contract considerations need to be taken into account. Fact is, if there ever were a year to draft a WR as good as Hopkins in the second round this year sure seems to be it.

If the Texans thought they could soften the blow of the Watson mega contract by dumping Hopkins for picks I can see their line of thinking. But to trade away Hopkins for what amounts to draft position (not even extra picks!), Brandin Cooks and David Johnson? Its just stupid. What could be a very savvy move becomes a completely idiotic waste.

Pushing off has been a point of emphasis since he's been gone so I guess we'll see. They really don't like OJ Howard for some reason...

Would love to see him in a Bears jersey. Offer a conditional 2021 pick for him.

Love the uniforms. Not a big fan of the white helmets, but overall very nice!

This can't really hurt the Bucs, can it?

The upside is huge....the downside is a missing 4th rounder? If Gronk looks like Gronk from 2 years ago...ok, not great, but probably just as good as a 4th rd TE in this years draft. And they still have Brate to fall back on if Gronk completely sucks (I assume Howard is gone).

I agree. I love most of them.
The dark blue is weird, but not as weird as....why do they have 6 uniforms for a 16 game schedule?
