Bart Johnson, who played eight seasons with the White Sox and later was a longtime scout for the organization, died Wednesday.

Dude had quite the head of hair when he played. He Crest looked like a young Bart.

One of the first autographs I ever got. He came to the Firestone at Ford City. The next year, Richie Zisk came.

Farmer, Johnson, and who's next? Stone? Chris Knapp? God wants the '77 Sox with Him because they were so good. (Years ago, Stone wouldn't have been eligible for the full benefits package, but God has chilled a lot.)
