The hate can be there with sportsmanship. It's why I like the dignified sport of hockey.

I feel like it's a times are changing thing. The athletes have been treated differently their whole lives. They are already winners so championships don't really matter. Look what's happen to football they aren't as tough and they aren't as good and it shows. And basketball is worse, it can essentially be fixed.
