True story...my wife made her own breakfast her first Mother's day. My oldest was up most of the night, and I was up with her...I think I finally got her down around 5 AM, and I had been up since 5 the previous morning...pity was taken on me and I was allowed to sleep until like 8 or 9.

Her revenge was waking me up at 7 on Father's day to go out to breakfast with her and her mom...and I was super hung over from Doug's 40th the night before...

that's bullshit. The boys yes since that's their mom. But as for GD, he doesn't even need to talk to his wife that day let alone give her a gift. He didn't marry his mom as far as I know.

He married a woman who birthed them. There are specific cards for mothers who didn't push you out. There are different things that you can do for them because you love them or appreciate them. Not being an asshole to people you care about isn't a big deal.
