You had Dan Mariano putting up 2019 video game numbers in the late 80's and early to mid 90's era and some good talent on defense. Clearly something went wrong as to why they never won a Superbowl or even made one outside of Marino's rookie year. I was always of the opinion that he was a good guy, but bad coach.
