he could have floated a pass over the LB and probably gotten the first down though the safety may have closed quick enough on that type of pass.. i can concede that point. there is a SF in coverage at the 30 so its not like there was an unimpeded throwing lane there. i also think you can pretty much throw out #3... on that type of rollout you cant sit still long enough to move off of #1 and #2 options to see #3 is there.

also worth noting #2 in that photo is the 2nd TE not graham.. graham starts the play lined up ont he left side and is the shortest option not open on the play....

I just don’t see what the confusion is. No need to float anything. Even last year Rodgers easily has the velocity and accuracy to make #2 the easy read for the first down. Even with Adams 1v1 he’s still got Richard Sherman on him. #2 was the easy read and Rodgers made a bad play. Not the worst thing in the world, just pointing out something he’s done more frequently recently.

am i talking to jameis pre lasik here...? the safety #20 is in the passing lane. also worth noting sherman was not on adams... it was #23 who was their weak link in the secondary and pretty much got benched in playoffs after getting roasted by diggs

You’re calling me blind? #2 is literally wide fucking open by like 10 yards on all sides before Rodgers even starts his throwing motion after the defender fell. There’s nobody in that passing lane.

Anyway, it’s not worth continuing to argue about. If you think Rodgers made the right read there it’s all good.

You seriously think #20 has #2 covered there? Keep in mind this is a screenshot that gets way worse for your POV a millisecond from now. That’s an interesting opinion imo.

covered no, in passing lane, clearly yes unless pass lobbed over him

Nope. Rodgers basically just has to throw it straight and that’s an easy completion.

Right but I thought we all understood #2 is running across the field, not running a curl.

The 2012 game against Seattle is on.

What a game to relive.

Winkler was great on Draft Day and the days after.

I did not think I would see Bart getting mentioned here of all places!! He was still fuming about the draft this morning.

I'm listening to him right now while I'm trying to get some work done. I've never listened to this guy before.

The great thing about bragging or bitching about the draft is that nobody remembers what you said 3 years later, particularly when nobody cares what you say today.

I’m not defending Packers secondary WRs with posting that tweet, nor defending the Love pick and saying Rodgers is washed up. Just something that was noticeable last year and I came across it today so posted it out of boredom.

Now I know who the guy is that posted the clip. He's the Packers Locked On host. The Locked On guys are hit or miss but he puts a lot of effort into it. I remember him from when he did crosstalk last season with the Raiders guy.

Rodgers took a step back but that doesn't mean they should draft Jordan Love.

It would have made some sense to me if they could get out of the Rodgers business next season but his contract makes that impossible. Zierlein was suggesting the cap could be lower next season because of the lost revenue this season.

Ok? And Cousins is something like 5-22. Not sure the point. Everyone knows Rodgers has fallen off since 2016

Rogers is still great, their D sucks every year.. They need tight ends and wideouts and he'll toss 45 TDs and 6 picks.

Rodgers is a great American. He said he would not do a PSA telling people to stay home together. Now he is saying the house arrest should end

He's gonna have a monster year, he's also like 5 years younger than Campbell.

Sounds like Aaron is back on the market, should be an MVP season now.
