Jorr, I’m buying you and your nuke loving libertarian buddies a drink at your clubhouse next time an invite is extended.

What say y’all?

I was trying to be the lone holdout on the baseball draft so when I told you I didn’t think I could do it this year I have to admit I could only laugh when you were like yeah all good I don’t there will be a season either.

Fucking boys club bullshit.

I'm going to the gym, I'm going to restaurants, I'm having family and friends over. I'd like to go back to school.

Let’s meet up for a drink with Noisey. No boys club, all genders and IMU are welcome!

We'll make an exception if you want to stop by PdL, Spaulding.

Why isn't it open now? They're all hiding in the bunker. I would drive all the way out there to have a CFMB drink. #Renegade

I plan on spending a weekend really thinking about the vocals at the end of Yes's Roundabout. I'm not sure they are needed. I know the song has all sorts of things going on, but it may have been better cut in about half. I don't know about 8 times.

It’s not open now for one simple reason. Jorr has expounded on this before when saying guys like him and tall midget are too comfortable for revolution. Soon the conditions for revolution could change.

 Yeah, the old guys are. There was some argument about opening last week. It will probably happen soon.

The guy that called me a statist for saying I’m a libertarian but I don’t think private citizens should have nuclear weapons - tell that guy he’s a straight up pussy if he doesn’t want to come out to have a drink.

Are you talking about the "da-da-da-da-daaaaaa-daaaa-da" part? Because I think that's what really brings it home. If you went straight from "I'll be there with you" to the little guitar lick, there wouldn't be enough of a build.

If you want to talk about cutting a Yes song in half, "I've Seen All Good People" can lose almost the entire coda -- the organ coming in under the second chorus is the obvious climax of the song. Yeah, you've seen them, we get it already!

Me? I’m not afraid of being called dumb. That description is applicable often enough. Democrat is not an applicable label ever though.

Yes! That is exactly what I am talking about. 8 times is too much. Yes, you are also correct on the other song. They took things too far sometimes. It's hard when there is no off position on the genius switch. 5 would have been perfect and unexpected. At least that is what I am thinking now, I want to reserve my final opinion for when I have a full weekend post covid to devote to it.

No one is really a libertarian. Libertarianism is an unstable emulsion: eventually you're either in it for the freedom or in it for the stuff. Funny you clock FavreFan that way, though, because "actually, I'm a libertarian" has been the battle cry of Republicans who don't want to be called dumb. (By 2007 I think every conservative talk show host on AM radio was Actually A Libertarian.) But like I said, it's inherently untenable and can indeed break either way.

No offense man but everything according to you whack ass lefty’s is untenable. Capitalism is untenable!

No, it’s actually not at all. It’s the single biggest factor in raising poor people out of poverty in the history of this fucking planet.

Except for the part where they want limited government intervention into things.

Well, hey, that's what progressive rock was for, no? There wasn't really lean, focused prog until Fripp kicked everyone out of King Crimson and brought in Adrian Belew to free-associate over Chapman stick noodling. (And ultimately that was just New Wave anyway.)

That doesn’t describe conservatives in my entire lifetime. Maybe you’re thinking of the past.

Libertarians are all for freedom of choice in all things and then you have to suffer those consequences. Their gov will not help you at all. I think they are a little crazy.

That’s reductive but mostly true. Conservatives don’t think that way. Maybe they used to before I was born but they haven’t thought that way in my lifetime. Or yours.

Yes, conservatives love private healthcare. They love higher taxes to fund government programs. Are you thinking about extra government intervention in intervening in other countries policies or perhaps extra government policies to begin the Space Force era?

It doesn’t matter what I think man. It’s an objective fact that in the last 30+ years “conservatives” or “republicans” have not advocated for limited government. Are you saying you disagree with that assertion?
