Maybe it won't be that bad. I heard on a show this morning they were going to have a lot of guests and they were thinking it was going to be like Luke Bryan singing again but looking at the guest list on PFT it looks like its going to be football people.

At least we know Mitch's throws are already socially distancing compliant: 6 feet away from the intended receiver.

None of these games are going to happen. Why is the league even bothering with this bullshit?

Now there's something to be proud of. What QB hasn't owned the Lions over the better part of the last twenty years?

They will happen in empty stadiums. The season is still 4 months away. They will sort it out so teams can play, but will have no crowds.

I'm trying to discuss the Bears schedule with Bears fans.

If you want to talk about scheduling, why bring the backup quarterback into the conversation?

They are going to start 1-4 or 0-5. The Lions game is a coinflip, Detroit needs to always have some early season success so they can piss away the season later on. They arent beating any of those other teams unless the Tampa thing implodes.

Then they get two very winnable games but they get them away before running a three game gauntlet they stand little chance against. We are looking at eight losses at the BYE, probably. Beat the Lions and beat one of the Panthers or Rams.

The NFL will play the games. There is nothing that will stop them from playing the games, and they will play them in front of fans too.

No way. They will start strong, then fade. 8-8 sounds right.

Starting 3-1 is realistic heading into the Tampa Bay game.

There will be no fans at games this season.

I could see them starting 4-0. The Buccaneers game is set up for them to lose.

Me too. The game in Atlanta is a toss up.

Have a feeling that the coach that loses the opener will quickly be on the hot seat. Like that we start with Detroit because if they for some reason decide to give Mitch the starting job he usually plays OK vs Detroit because Patricia refuses to play zone and if Mitch sucks the D should keep the game close enough for a second half rescue by Foles. If we get competent QB play we should be at least 9-7, but that is a big if given the injury history of both QBs and the lack of talent on the offensive line.

1-4 or 0-5 is ridiculous. Giants, Colts, Falcons, Lions, Bucs.... at least 4 of those games are winnable. At worst we start 2-3, more likely 3-2.
