I'll be in KC for Sox @ Royals that weekend. Plus the lineup bores me, for the most part.

Bands I would have checked out were I going:
-Rage Against The Machine (never saw them during the original run, and the fact that I had tickets to their canceled tour with the Beastie Boys still grinds my gears)
-Girl Talk (even though it's just a guy on a laptop)
-Innerpartysystem (even though their show is probably totally weak in daylight without their strobes and LEDs)
-Brand New

Everyone else I've already seen or am disinterested in. I like Wilco a lot, but have no desire to see them live.

closest chance i had to see them was when they were in pennsylvania (somewhere around upper darby i think) right after summer teeth was out, but someone told me not to see them live because they're so drawn out and boring...this was right after i saw badly drawn boy live (who drunkenly put on a 3 hour show and bored us all to tears) so i was like..."nah".
