Interesting that Bruce Sutter came into this game with a 1.19 ERA, yet he had 3 losses (2-3 W-L record), this is late June.

that ERA ballooned after this game.

Always thought George Frazier was garbage.

Was surprised to hear that he lost 3 World Series games in 1981.

Never knew he was a Yankee, and never woulda thought he pitched in a single World Series game let alone lost 3 of 'em.

Hard to believe at this point he was a garbage middle reliever with the Cubs.

Costas was prophetic: After top of the 9th he said:

"There's more drama coming up in the bottom of the 9th".

How did he know? I mean the score was fixed at 9-8 for a few innings by this point.

Listening to a couple innings of the Cubs/Dodgers Memorial Day game on the Score now. I miss the Heyward is valuable propaganda. Pat Hughes as Heyward scores on a single, "Only a a tiny % of guys could of scored on that play." Seagulls arrive late afternoon as usual. Coomer is great with the hockey like nicknames.
