I love tornado warnings at 10:30 at night and storm fronts that rattle the house. That was a significant front that blew through here last night. Inherited my daughter’s dog who kept her up late Wednesday night during another storm for the night.appadentyly. Y room is less scary.

Quite a bit of rain, but we appeared to be in a tiny sliver of an area that missed the heaviest stuff. Northern burbs and Kankakee got hammered. And got stormed upon.

This is nothing like last year around here. We were actually dry going into this past week and most everyone is planted that is a conventional planter. We were pretty much in the bullseye for systems last year though.

After all the rain, now it’s been a downpour for 45 minutes. I think my house is basically an island as water rushes out to the street

Was up listening to nuclear war radio plays (including the one about Peoria) last night, and so when that flash flood buzzed my phone a minute ago, I kinda jumped.

Our phones just blew up telling us it's raining really hard.
