Virtually all of those people are making far more than minimum wage on unemployment and yet you argued against raising the minimum wage many times even though the concerns about feeding and clothing their children is FAR greater with a minimum wage worker than they are a currently unemployed person getting state unemployment + $600 a week from the Trump fund.

Music venues are closed because there cannot be more than ten people at a gathering.

What about the bar that is open as you claim? Can you post the name of it here? If not, send a PM and I'll check it out on my own.

They're still making money off it right? Take a projector outside and throw the fucking movie up on the wall. Nobody is stopping them from that.

Don't forget his marginal attempts to profit on the pandemic with inflated PPE costs...cause he knew a guy...

What happens when the unemployment (for the lucky ones that qualify and actually were able to file.) runs out and the job they had went out of business because some hack politician wanted to hold the state hostage for a bailout?

They'll have to find a new job. Should we raise the minimum wage so they have a better chance to make rent and feed and clothe their children?

They should pull themselves up by the bootstraps and find another job right?

Oh and maybe that hack politician should find a way to tell the Feds to fuck off and keep the extra tax money IL kicks in. Let Kentucky and Florida fend for themselves. I mean we're against bailouts right Senator?

Are you saying that unemployment numbers are going to stay at the current levels for a long time? In 3 years, will 30 million be unemployed still?

Maybe they need to go back to school or learn a trade. Maybe MOVE to one of the areas were those damn illegals are being kept out and pick vegetables for a living. Do they have no work ethic?

There are a lot of workers around the country who aren't going to be itching to go back to work until August. Giving up around $1k or more a week for the right to make $300 a week would be stupid. Considering that MOST places around the country aren't allowed to operate at 100% capacity, they probably would be making less than that with the few hours they'll be able to pick up.

I'll take the under on 30 million being unemployed for the next 3 years. Hope it works out better than what Frank was willing to bet on.

We need to wait for a vaccine. That could easily be 3 years from now. I'll see your 30 million, and raise you another 30 million.
