This is a really unscientific response. The issue with fast tracked drugs is we have no idea about the long term effects. Drugs that are approved get pulled from the shelves later all the time.

WFR is right about fast tracking. That said, it being necessary is related to the fatal nature of what you are fighting. I do know the work is going on though and I am sure as fast as possible. As soon as short term results are proven like from the two Washington trial patients for example. Things will go fast but only in terms of bigger trials of that or other vaccine attempts. A final one is not happening this year.

Related we have had already three deliveries to my building of virus samples. Any respected vaccine research groups are working full out.

The flu vaccine is a new formulation every year too. They do their best to "guess" which is the many flu strains will come over from the places is almost always start first in which is also mostly China. That's not that far off from what they have to do here with this vaccine.

It won't be as tested as vaccines we got as kids but I also don't think it will be that they inject 10 people with the vaccine and as long as they live for 6 months they give it to a billion people.

For myself, I'm not interested in the vaccine. To some degree, I'd like the actual virus.

I mean if you told me that I could take a vaccine for the virus but 1 out of 10 times that vaccine would kill me....and the other 9 times it would kill me too. Just depends on how bad death is.

The one thing, most certainly, that nobody can say about myself was that I ever asked someone to get injected with an incredibly deadly virus that I wasn't fucking willing to get injected with myself.
