Micah Xavier Johnson, you were a hero. It's just a shame you didn't take more of them with you.

I think the video is a reflection of how police officers abuse their power and often make harmful decisions then ask questions later. This does not apply to all police or all situations, but it happens far too often.

Far too often.

Feel free to post statistics on this. And let me know if the police are killing more people than the general public.

Feel free to answer the questions I have posted twice for you. I know you won't because you're too scared, or it doesn't fit your narrative, or both.

You don't have any sensible question. Do I know if he broke free prior to the video? No.

What am I supposed to be scared of? Saying it happens too often means nothing. It's like saying if we saved only one life lockdown was worth it. Too often means what exactly?

Are poor people predisposed to commit crimes and use drugs? Has science identified that gene? These things are allowed to happen because the people who do have a voice remain silent because these abuses of power don't happen in their communities.

The power you give to government and people in power the more they'll take. Eventually these things will find their way in all communities. We're seeing how irate MANY are with 10 weeks of government putting their thumbs on the scale in all communities.

There are more murders and gun violence in poorer communities. And there are more police as a result. When you say things like this are allowed to happen- I don't think they are anymore. Hence the media coverage. It's a chicken or the egg type of argument. I believe police run-ins are a roll of the dice. You are going to eventually meet a bad one or one having a bad day. Your actions during the encounter are going to affect how you are treated. If you start a physical confrontation with a cop there is a good chance it's going to end up poorly.

Frank suggested that he did not care how much it cost during the shooting in Dallas. Ok. How much more in taxes would you pay to attract the best possible police and more training?
Are you certain that even if you paid say $10k a year more that the outcomes would be all that different?

As Jorr has suggested the only sure way to end policing errors is to do away with the police. Would that make communities safer?

The stats show that the overwhelming majority of police interactions in poorer communities are for minor traffic offenses and minor drug offenses. We both know that drug use is similar regardless of race or class, but the police spend their time "cleaning up" drugs in poorer communities. It's legal harassment of lower class citizens. That's why prisons are filled with them.

I don't envy the job a police officer has. In a lot of ways it is a thankless job. That being said, respect for ALL citizens, equal enforcement of laws, proper training and accountability would go a long way. What would that cost? I don't know. I believe that it would reduce the abuses of power and restore trust. Maybe even policing the community that you live in would help.

I think WFR should go play in traffic, but you don't get to make posts like this when you b.itched out when I asked you to do the same and then had a hissy fit when I kept on you about it.

The police force is an attraction for asshole dooshbags. That's why there are MANY. They are probably trained fine. But you can't train the dooshbag out of them.

What country are you being deported from this week shithead?

Have you gotten back to us on how this man not wearing as mask is wishing death on the cops but GI Cuck screaming in their face without one is just fine?

I also think "Being black in America should not be a death sentence" is more provocative than accurate. On the other hand, I'm trying to picture the same scenario happening with a black cop with white perp and white bystanders, and can't do it.

It's SO LAME when you post that video. I was also referring to the bhitchdom between Ogie "I would definitely, totally rampage if not for my wife and kids" Oglethorpe and the tough guy twitter user you posted heaping praise on a killer but then having to immediately insist he was just trolling.

It's probably just a coincidence when a poster bends over backwards to defend the actions of a police officer, but doesn't extend that same courtesy to a victim of sexual assault.

In some of these videos, there is at least a tiny little fraction of a movement or something said where you can defend the police officer.

There literally is no single defense in this Minnesota case. As Denis said the guy could have killed ten people and swung a baseball bat at police, and there is no excuse for suffocating him like that.
