Yea I love how the article Don pasted clarifies they aren’t related

I love dogs and cats. With the right family cats give fucks when they have to. I had an alpha cat who would chase dogs and guarded my son when he was born.

See, this is why your kids don't wanna fight--you got a team of tomcats protecting them.

I had an uncaged iguana when my oldest kid was born. He was great despite everyone demanding that I get rid of him. I think some animals just know or have a great feel for things.

I could see them both as douchebags but she's the one ultimately weaponizing her race against him.

For the board lawers, does she have a case for wrongful termination or possibly more here (defamation)? Given the wording of the dismissal announcement, they basically implied she's a racist and committed a racist act. This casts aspersions on her character, hurts her earning potential, and obviously places a social stigma on her that's going to take a long time to erase. I don't feel bad for her but does she have a lawsuit on her hands against her former employer?

Yeah, didn't the guy admit he keeps dog treats in his pocket to attract the dogs from owners he wants to teach a lesson to?

The only quote I think will help her is his saying "If you're gonna do what you want, then I'm gonna do what I want and you're not gonna like it." It's a stretch to think she thought he was going to assault her based on that, but it may be the only thing her lawyer can use if she pursues something.

Yeah but then her actions on camera don't align with being threatened at all. If you feel like someone will assault you then you run away. She actually got in his face on camera to say stop recording, not to say don't hit me etc.

I'm reading that the timeline has the guy giving this woman the "you're not going to like it" line, then immediately pulling something edible out from his pocket and trying to get the dog to come to him.

Is that correct?

Seems to be, and if she had called the cops and said that a person was in the park trying to feed her dog something then this is a complete non-story.

Are you suggesting she thought he was going to poison her dog? If that were the case she could have leashed the dog and just walked away.

Apparently there is a constant battle between birders and rude dog owners in the Ramble which is why the guy just happened to be carrying dog treats.

In most cases walking away is the right choice for everyone. It's not really my nature to do that so I'm not criticizing anyone else who doesn't. But I have a friend who is a guy that I wouldn't recommend fucking with and I've been with him for a couple confrontations over the years. Both times he said the same words: "I'm walking away, you should walk away too." Both times the other guys did walk away. Probably more because of how my friend looks than what he said though.

Yeah. Walking away is best. What's crazy now is the notion that it's national news if a woman calls the police if she feels threatened, but the media will tell us we live in a raped culture society and play up stories about violence and rape.

It's national news because she used his race against him.

She made a POINT of his race. Like the cops will come with a SWAT team once they hear about this.

Sure. She did a really shitty thing. She's the real bad guy here. They're not equal. The guy at worst is a pain in the ass. What she did could have turned out being dangerous.

You get his point though. In a world where a "microaggression" is enough to make people collapse into a puddle, a guy saying, "You won't like what I'm gonna do" might sound like a serious threat.

I haven't seen the video yet either but I read that she abused the dog.

I find this kinda hard to believe.

you could just watch the video and find out for yourself.

Spoiler: She held the dog off the ground by it's collar and basically swung it around by it's neck for the entire duration of the video.

It's EASILY the most disturbing part of the video.

I've actually been randomly threatened on the streets of NYC, and the only thing you want to do is get as far away as you can if you are feeling that way. You don't continue the situation. I didn't say a single word and walked away as quickly as possible.

Quote:
“I’m going to tell them there’s an African-American man threatening my life,” she says to him while dialing, then repeats to the operator, “He’s African-American.”

What is the reasoning to tell him that?

She made it a point to describe him using his race. It wasn't a manhunt. He was right there. It's not like a description was needed to find him.

And if she were really threatened she wouldn't have been up in his face.

He was too fucking big to be scared of that tiny dog. Shame on him if he was. I believe it was about the birds. Shame on him for that too.

I didn't see the video.. My buddy sold a cane corso to Eddie Curry about 20 years ago.. 8 weeks old.. My dog was the stud of that litter.. 5 days later E.C. called him to take the pup back.. He was scared shitless of him ( 8.5 weeks old 20 lbs) Curry locked himself in one of his bathrooms and wouldn't come out til he came and removed the puppy..

Dog was a sweetheart btw

We're talking about Eddy Curry. Is that surprising to you?

Didn't help that the dogs name was Rebound.

This is my favorite part of the story. During her crazy rambling she doesn't drop the N-bomb or even say "black guy". She keeps it's PC.

Apparently, the Ramble is a gay cruising spot. What were the dog treats really for?

Yeah. Walking away is best. What's crazy now is the notion that it's national news if a woman calls the police if she feels threatened, but the media will tell us we live in a raped culture society and play up stories about violence and rape.
It's national news because she used his race against him.

How was his race used against him? She mentioned it in a description of the person she was arguing with? Should women never call the police on black men?

She made it a point to describe him using his race. It wasn't a manhunt. He was right there. It's not like a description was needed to find him.

And if she were really threatened she wouldn't have been up in his face.

She called him an African American during an argument. If that means it makes her certain racist who deserves to lose her job, be doxxed and made miserable well then I don't think we have a functioning society anymore.

Juice, you wanna take this one?

I don't have any affinity for the dog choker but seems weird to get fired for this when not a public figure.
