The number of people I saw do a heal turn back to being pro police was not surprising. Honestly, they were probably looking for an excuse to go back to their normal way of looking at things even if only subconsciously. Personally I don’t like seeing the riots or destruction. But it doesn’t change the facts that a guy was killed on the streets so callously.

As CNN covered the minniehaha(small laugh) liquor store burning down, they were outraged at the lack of masks.

What does stealing a TV and burning down a building have to do with a guy being killed? Nothing.

yea i never watch CNN but put it on for a few minutes late last night and the outrage at no masks seemed very odd. Then one of the anchors kept asking the street reporter why she "stood back" if no one was forcing her since no cops were there bc she had "reported from a warzone before" . He seemed incredulous about it and kept drilling her about it, it was really awkward

I don't agree with the rioting but this is what happens when you ignore the quiet protest and let the dirty cops get away with murder over and over again.

It isn't like this is the first time a cop used deadly force on a black male for no reason and got away with it and people starting burning shit. People are fed up and have no faith in the justice system. Right or wrong, their message is leading the news.

The "blacks" shows just how stupid you are about this. The blacks are not some unified one minded group anymore than "the whites" are. If you believe that the only way to respond to injustice is to injure people and burn down your city then you are infantilizing a group of people that you clearly have zero interactions with.

You have zero problem saying police need to be better. Then why can't we ask our fellow citizens to be better? And make no mistake it's not just "the blacks" rioting. It's idiots of all races who want to complain about oppression here by lobbing a molotov cocktail at a liquor store. If you think America needs to be burnt to the ground for "justice" I need ask what's the model from around the world that you want to replace it.

People get away with murder everyday in this country and especially in the areas where the protestors live and are in fact , aided and abetted by the same people that live there .A microscopic percentage of bad shootings / apprehensions by the police and the city must burn . Sure thing.
