"In the course of clearing the streets and restoring order at Lake Street and Snelling Avenue, four people were arrested by State Patrol troopers, including three members of a CNN crew. The three were released once they were confirmed to be members of the media."

CNN disputed the state police characterization in a statement on Twitter.

"This is not accurate -- our CNN crew identified themselves, on live television, immediately as journalists. We thank Minnesota @GovTimWalz for his swift action this morning to aid in the release of our crew."

it's a system that works until it is a cop who commits the crime. Then it turns into a cover-up that you would expect in 3rd world Mexico.

Police in this country are and continue to be the problem. They continually get away with this (the murderer in this case even had a history of abuse with no consequence).

I don't see things changing until something gets bad enough that change is forced upon the system. The Philando Castile case was honestly my last straw in these matters. We gave the justice system a chance and it completely failed.

Let's get real, I can find about umteen thousand examples of blue checkmarks egging on the rioting and even justifying black-on-white crime and it goes un-deleted by Twitter.
