What "black straw men" have I brought into arguments. It's my default position on nearly every disagreement here.

For example the last race disagreement we had stemmed from your claim that if black people were dying from coronavirus it was because of pour medical treatment at subpar hospitals. That isn't supported by any evidence. And you used Yelp reviews to prove your point. It's a shoot from the hip argument that we are all supposed to agree to because race and injustice was evoked.

In Minnesota an unarmed man died in police custody. You are more likely to die from a bee or wasp sting that this occurring. Yet it is being said this this happens all the time. First Eric Garner a decade ago and now this! It's ridiculous to use a single incident as evidence that this is how life is or as justification for destroying a city. If there were actual figures that showed thousands of unarmed only black people dying in police custody then I would agree that the police are racist rather than just lazy and incompetent.

Racism is lazily used all the time to explain complicated issues or outcomes we don't like.
