That's a positive, you asshole? What does that group have to do with anarchy and chaos? By your standard, I ought to organize a bunch of folks who hate abortion and go down and burn a Planned Parenthood clinic or two. That is a truly evil place. Do you actually think that that isn't in the cards if government and law enforcement look the other way for Antifa, BLM, and other Soros and Gates championed anarchists? Think that the left has a monopoly on people that aren't getting very pissed off right now? And many of the people getting upset have GUNS and know how to use them.

I'm serious. This shit is getting pretty clear to me and it is getting pretty personal. Enter a person's home or business uninvited and you should be arrested. If the police don't come to help a person when this happens, then the owner has a right to protect his family and/or his property and that will normally require using a weapon. Tough shit for the criminal but he will not get away with it.

That was disgusting but goes back to what I was saying. That guy watching his wife get almost killed by those thugs, if he had armed security or a gun himself, he or they would have a right to shoot the SOBs in order to defend her. I'd do it in second.

This thread sucks. Everyone posting in this thread sucks (me included). This is going to get much worse before it gets better. I hope you all die screaming. That's the last I'll say on this subject.

I'm telling you this. I wouldn't want to be a cop after watching this shit over the last week. And a lot of it is in the stupid politics by the people that are in charge of these cities. Sometimes cops have to kick ass on that bad guys and these jag-offs getting in their faces and throwing shit including bricks and Molotov cocktails deserve to get the crap beat out of them. Hell some of the mayors order them down and to stand away from protecting businesses and people which violates their basic code of duty to protect and serve the community.

This shit was all organized and was waiting for a spark to ignite and they got what they wanted. Soros and Sharpton might have might as well have killed the guy themselves.

Is that really appealing in a crisis?

It apparently is, to the irretrievably stupid.

No. HE is absolutely correct. Letting the animals who are doing this shit burn attack, and loot should result in the firing of those in charge of these cities. For too long the pacification of the lawless has been allowed to happen. No respect for law and order or police and fire department.

There's Jet at it again. Anyone who commits violence is a "Trump supporter". What makes you think they were Trump supporters? Because some hysterical woman was screaming "FUCK DONALD TRUMP!" at them? Because they had the audacity to fly the American flag?

The funny thing is, that "Trump supporter" narrative was writ large for a few moments yesterday when "white supremacists" were blamed for the riots and looting by CNN and MSNBC among others until such narrative became so obviously preposterous- almost instantly- that it was rendered untenable.

It's also "preposterous" to think (as you and Fox News shockingly, kept pushing all of yesterday) that the riots were mostly due to Government shutdowns that occurred over the past 2-3 months.

Can you support your contention?

I'll support mine. There were less black men killed in police custody over the last year than there have been in a long time and we've never seen anything like this is the past. What is different now? Oh yeah, we just threw 40 million Americans out of work on purpose.

As a side note, you sure do watch a lot of Fox News.

Yeah unlike you I like to be "fair and balanced".
1. For your contention to be true then cities such as Atlanta, L.A., and Houston would not have gone up the way that they have. Each has been open for weeks now.

2. Blacks haven't been the only ones rioting if you haven't noticed. Thus your notion that it was simply about "black men in custody" dying less is fallacious.

3. Many of the people rioting were young and less apt to be effected by rising unemployment caused simply by the shutdown. A great number of the youth were unemployed prior to the shutdown anyway.

So it's not caused by the lockdowns, it's not caused by George Floyd's death, what do you think is driving it?

It caused by a couple of things. Idiot mayors and governors who the anarchists knew would protect their own cities. And also be organized domestic terrorist organization funded by anarchists who want to take over the country.

That's certainly the spark. But there's a hopelessness that has been created by the collapsing economy and the promotion of a "new normal" that everyone knows is a euphemism for a shit normal.

Disagree. The economy was actually beginning to come back. The stock market rising and businesses calling back workers. This isn't anykind of a grass roots bottom up thing. This is professional work done by powerful and rich people. Barr and the Justice department needs to find out the root cause of this terrorism and stop it at its money source. I also wouldn't doubt if China is behind this shit also along with Gates and Soros.

I'm certain that some if not the majority of the kids perpetrating violence had racial hatred in their hearts. Still doesn't mean that they don't suffer from economic anxieties as well.

I also know for a fact that I am far more qualified to speak about that sort of thing than either you or JLN happen to be. Your only "interaction" with "those" types of kids is through the Twitter page of some "woke" person's account.

The Kentucky killing was the result of the boyfriend opening fire at police. He actually managed to shoot a cop. I dont know what else people expect police to do if they are shot at. It is totally unreasonable to expect police to just sit there and do nothing when one of their own has been hit and they are under fire. You'd never expect that out of a private citizen or a soldier at war.

Georgia was clearly some guys who were beefing about something that wound up in murder (common occurrence in the USA) and not just some dude getting hunted down while out for a jog. Nobody jogs in work boots.

Minneapolis was over the line. But these protests too have been over the line, and the refusal of liberal people to call that out is only encouraging it to get worse.

Genuinely. What's the difference? Because if a group of white racists who hated black people who marauding around American cities burning things down I cant even imagine the indignation.

What do you mean by "sympathy"? They should go to jail for what they happened to have done. Just like white racist should go to jail when they commit such acts.

You and your compadres spent the better portion of a week trying to justify the actions of two guys that chased a jogger in a pickup truck,, pulled weapons (the only people with weapons by the way) while then proceeding to shoot and kill the guy. You tried to provide a rationale for the bullshit. To the best of my knowledge no one is doing that here.

Lastly you may not have noticed but there were also a number of whites doing the protesting and looting too. The kids that attacked the cop and his partner were not black.

There are economic anxieties which predate the shutdown. For blacks in particular, these anxieties go back centuries in this country. People like you constantly ignore and make excuses for it. If you want to see this sort of behavior change then there has to be changes in the system which seek to prevent it.
The "difference" (as you asked)in the black and white racist is that the white racist has power and influence. The white racist can ascend (even in 2020) all the way to the White House. The black racist is more than likely to need a public defender once he receives his assault and theft charges.

When white racists murder people and burn down buildings they go to jail the overwhelmingly majority of the time. There are times they dont, but black racists killing white people get off at about the same rate. There's just inherent imperfections in the justice system where clearly guilty people walk free because a determination has been made that its preferable to let a few guilty people walk to preserve these protections. Sucks, but that's the way it is. Maybe once upon a time it had a lot to do with race, but it doesn't anymore.

Quote:
You and your compadres spent the better portion of a week trying to justify the actions of two guys that chased a jogger in a pickup truck,, pulled weapons (the only people with weapons by the way) and then shooting and killing the guy. You tried to provide a rationale for the bullshit. To the best of my knowledge no one is doing that here.

He wasn't just "going for a jog", really. Nobody jogs in work boots. Those guys knew each other and had some issue, they resolved it by murder. An outcome far too common in this country. Either way, they are all going to prison.

Quote:
Lastly you may not have noticed but there were also a number of whites doing the protesting and looting too. The kids that attacked the cop and his partner were not black.

This is definitely true. There are white people using this as an excuse to cause mayhem, it is undeniable. But what has fostered these conditions where people like that are acting with relative impunity is black rage.

Quote:
There are economic anxieties which predate the shutdown. For blacks in particular, these anxieties go back centuries in this country. People like you constantly ignore and make excuses for it. If you want to see this sort of behavior change then there has to be changes in the system which seek to prevent it.
The "difference" (as you asked)in the black and white racist is that the white racist has power and influence. The white racist can ascend (even in 2020) all the way to the White House. The black racist is more than likely to need a public defender once he receives his assault and theft charges.

But so many of the people who support these issues will laugh off the economic anxieties white Americans felt which got them to elect Trump. I want to be clear, I dont think the economic argument for whites or blacks holds any water at all. Median income among exclusively lower income Americans is greater than overall median income in the UK, Israel, New Zealand, Japan, Finland and Italy. People around the world make do and are happy with less money than even lower income Americans have, and I will tell you from personal experience it was way more expensive to afford rent and food in New Zealand ($250/week rent in Wellington to have just a room) than America. Food was about 1.5x as expensive and gas about five times as expensive.

Before you ask for a source:
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/28/how-muc ... earns.html

It is abundantly obvious to anyone with any sort of perspective that more money, or a bigger piece of the pie, will not make people in America happier. So I just dont buy the economic anxiety argument anymore. Not when white people do it, not when black people do it.

I agree. They are upset about the economy and George Floyd.

Looks like blacks and whites joined together to possibly kill a man. Not sure if that was a part of MLK's dream.

I’m heading downtown to join my black brothers and try and get some sweet Air Jordan’s too. #ThisiswhyIkneel #equality

You'll likely be the one to break the glass with a sledgehammer. I won't cry because you stole from Nike.

Those dastardly out of town protestors were vandalizing and looting CVS stores in Hyde Park and on 76th and Stony Island.
