I want to be clear, I dont think the economic argument for whites or blacks holds any water at all. Median income among exclusively lower income Americans is greater than overall median income in the UK, Israel, New Zealand, Japan, Finland and Italy. People around the world make do and are happy with less money than even lower income Americans have, and I will tell you from personal experience it was way more expensive to afford rent and food in New Zealand ($250/week rent in Wellington to have just a room) than America. Food was about 1.5x as expensive and gas about five times as expensive.

It is abundantly obvious to anyone with any sort of perspective that more money, or a bigger piece of the pie, will not make people in America happier. So I just dont buy the economic anxiety argument anymore. Not when white people do it, not when black people do it.

Why are people crying because billion dollar businesses were looted? These people just got trillions in bailouts and they spend millions to redesign their stores what seems like every 6 months. They'll be fine. Like sheep, we're more worried about a billionaire's business than we are worried about human lives. More worried about the powerful than the poor.

When white racists murder people and burn down buildings they go to jail the overwhelmingly majority of the time. There are times they dont, but black racists killing white people get off at about the same rate. There's just inherent imperfections in the justice system where clearly guilty people walk free because a determination has been made that its preferable to let a few guilty people walk to preserve these protections. Sucks, but that's the way it is. Maybe once upon a time it had a lot to do with race, but it doesn't anymore.


He wasn't just "going for a jog", really. Nobody jogs in work boots. Those guys knew each other and had some issue, they resolved it by murder. An outcome far too common in this country. Either way, they are all going to prison.

A lot of pharmacies. I'm seeing the photos on Facebook where people "looted" folks medication. That's a bigger issue to me than a Gucci bag being stolen.

I think people are way more upset about the losses of places like Central Camera that are really irreplaceable and have been in business for over one-hundred years. The issue with looting CVS and Target is not that they are hurting the business, its that the economy needs a degree of lawfulness to function normally. Without that it becomes impossible to do business.

Destroying small businesses is destroying American heritage, its a direct assault on the principles of entrepreneurship and self reliance that are at the core of the American character (or at least were once upon a time). It is not unlike ISIS topping the ruins at Palmyra. It should not be flippantly dismissed.

A. Per Capita (far more indicative than your oft stated median) income for blacks is half that of whites in this country.

Thats a step in the right direction. But PEOPLE need to stand up for law and order themselves in their mayors and governors don't do it. Put the cops in riot gear and let them and the National Guard crack heads when these assholes try and do their shit. Enough is enough. I watched in horror as about an 80 pound Asian woman was beaten to a pulp by big thugs with clubs in some city yesterday. Where were the cops protecting her and her husband who also was beat up?
