It’s hardly an original thought but it’s also not a meme. It’s simply the truth. This was the truth growing up in the 90’s and it hasn’t changed.

The whiny victim act of people bitching about getting called out for dumbass statements is beyond old at this point. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Follow that and the leftist twitter crowd should be of no concern.

This really isn’t difficult.

Im interested why you think Brees’ comment was stupid etc? I can see out of touch or out of the times. Certainly didn’t need to happen this week. But really all he said was he stands out of respect for his veteran grandfathers and nothing will change his mind. He never once said shit on BLM or Kap. So why is he treated that way for his opinion?

I don’t think Brees’s comments were stupid. I think they were out of touch but I don’t think he deserves the negative reaction he’s getting. But that’s my opinion. Just like everyone else is voicing their opinion on it. Which is fine in my mind and certainly not some sign free speech is in jeopardy. Which is how this all started because of stork’s ridiculous post about needing to submit apologies to woke authorities. A post ripe for mocking and I mocked it and JLN brought up being a libertarian for seemingly no reason at all and we were off. The CFMB way

The Park Police acknowledged firing “pepper balls,” a projectile munition that lofts irritant powder into the air, and “smoke canisters” to scatter the crowd Monday. The agency has not provided more details about the contents of the smoke it deployed, and a spokesman for the Park Police did not respond to requests seeking clarification Wednesday.

At least one spent canister recovered from the streets outside the park Monday by reporters was clearly labeled “Skat Shell OC.”

The OC stands for oleoresin capsicum, an oily substance derived from chile peppers that is often used in topical ointments and “heat” creams for arthritis relief and muscle pain. When it gets into the eyes, noses and lungs, however, it triggers searing, debilitating pain, coughs, sneezes and mucus secretion.

As police across the country use such chemical agents to quell protests and rioting, they also are triggering those major vectors for the spread of coronavirus.

Like the pepper-ball projectiles, the OC gas detected Monday is very much a lachrymatory product designed to produce tears. It clears crowds by making the air sting and burn — one reason the Park Police and other federal forces wore gas masks as they cleared a path for Trump to walk across the street and pose for photos outside a vandalized church.

VERY SAD!

Those priests sure stopped the vandalism of WWII monuments and the burning of a church

Plenty of these religious leaders are scumbags hiding behind a religion. Kudos on AG Barr clearing the area of crowds that turned violent every night.

I’d like to see the evidence of the priests turning violent every night. Or even the protestors there.

Never good to go full bootlicker, amigo.

I'm sure the injured Secret Service members would disagree with the absence of violence. If you are protesting peacefully, you should call out those agitating or leave when the crowd turns violent. If you don't, don't act shocked if you get caught up in the response.
Btw, since the Feds took that action, the crowd has become more peaceful; I loved seeing those videos where the agitators were confronted by the peaceful protestors.

I’m not saying there wasn’t violence but your mistake is saying that justifies attacking non violent Americans. It’s that simple.

Watch AG Barr's presser from yesterday and you'll understand the reasoning behind it.

No, I won’t. And I won’t ask you to watch a liar lying and tell you to understand the reasoning behind it either.

And it’s really fucked up you’re defending it.

Groups of US citizens, peacefully protesting, were tear gassed/pepper sprayed so a President could carry out a photo op. And the problem is not that it actually happened, but STOP SAYING THEY WERE TEAR GASSED!!!!!

There were Secret Service agents getting injured in the middle of those protesters who were pepper sprayed/tear gassed? Every video I saw was riot gear cops firing into a crowd that were either kneeling or had their hands up.

Yep. Decision was made to move them out after the events of the previous nights. But I guess arson, throwing bricks/frozen water bottles/Molotov cocktails, and destroying/vandalizing property is okay in some people's view.

I love to see people's reactions if this was happening to their neighborhoods.

That crowd that was either kneeling or had their hands up in broad daylight had to disperse. Trump HAD to have that picture taken while holding an upside down Bible. And you don't see the absolute ridiculousness in that?

I guess everything's cool as long as my side is doing it.

You seem to insist on staying confused and your justification for fucking up everybody based on the actions of some is about as totalitarian as it gets.

I’ll never understand the bootlicking police state advocate mentality. It’s as unamerican as anything I’ve ever seen. You would have made a fine loyalist in 1770 Frank.

It truly is hard to get your head around. You can be against looters and hell you can even be against the protestors without completely debasing yourself like many here are.

You must need a new tv (HEY BUDDY) because I saw "peaceful" crowds turn violent when it became dark the previous nights. Curfew was approaching and law enforcement took a proactive measure to quell the violence. If you notice since then, it has been quite peaceful save for the occasional shaking of that newly installed fence.
Btw, that fence was installed to set a fixed, physical barrier to protect the leader of our country. If you have never been in the security/law enforcement field, I can understand how you are ignorant to the ways of providing security.

I know exactly why the fence was put up. The tweet covered it.

The rest of your post still isn’t any type of rebuttal of you cheering on totalitarian tactics on American people. It’s pretty shameful that you think it’s ok to shoot protestors in the face with rubber bullets and pepper spray non violent protestors and priests because entirely different groups of people were looting and rioting. All so your precious wannabe dictator can get a photo op in front of a church with priests and bishop of that same church denouncing him as it was happening.

Your thoughts on this are just pathetic and shameful. There’s not much more than needs to be said.

AG Barr made the decision to expand the perimeter after the violence the previous nights; he actually wanted to have it done earlier. He went out to survey the crowd and was almost hit with a projectile.

The kneeling/hands up bullshit? Plenty of people act innocent even though just moments ago, they had thrown objects at law enforcement. Like I said, you wanted it to stay peaceful? Get the agitators the fuck out of there and law enforcement wouldn't have had a reason to push them back.

There has been plenty of protests against Trump in Lafayette Park throughout his presidency, all of them peaceful. Thus, law enforcement didn't need to intervene and disperse the crowd from the area.

This situation was completely different.

That crowd that was either kneeling or had their hands up in broad daylight had to disperse. Trump HAD to have that picture taken while holding an upside down Bible. And you don't see the absolute ridiculousness in that?

I guess everything's cool as long as my side is doing it.

When would’ve been a more opportune time for him to do it in your eyes ? There’s protestors out there for what , 10 days straight now ?

The rest of your post still isn’t any type of rebuttal of you cheering on totalitarian tactics on American people. It’s pretty shameful that you think it’s ok to shoot protestors in the face with rubber bullets and pepper spray non violent protestors and priests because entirely different groups of people were looting and rioting. All so your precious wannabe dictator can get a photo op in front of a church with priests and bishop of that same church denouncing him as it was happening.

Your thoughts on this are just pathetic and shameful. There’s not much more than needs to be said.

Thanks. That's why me and you served this country so we can have this discussion. Appreciate your opinions.

Agreed. I’d like it to stay the country I served and not turn into a totalitarian regime with fellow vets cheering it on. It sucks seeing how much it’s tearing people I served with apart that would have formerly taken bullets for each other. Somethings wrong if you don’t see Trump as part of this problem.
