Yeah this stuff is coming close to home now for me and my family. My city just had a protest this afternoon but a bigger one is scheduled for tonight in the biggest business district of the city. Hopefully the cops block off the two freeway entrances into the city. Today, I talked to my wife and two kids out here and she was picked up a couple of hours ago by my son-in-law to take her to their home in the mountains. She will stay for a couple of days and my oldest son and I will stay here and wait and see.

I've talked to several of my neighbors about what we all know and we will be vigilant but my son and I will stay and defend our homes and property through whatever means necessary and so will the people that I've talked to around here. I'm really getting too old for this shit and it is getting a bit scary. But I am not going to leave my house while this shit is going on.

Maybe Powell fancies himself as the COMMANDANT of a Reichstag type Dictatorship. Sort of the favorite henchman of a Nazi type honcho. He's got no loyalty to anyone but himself after all.
