I was wouldn't have given this show an opportunity when it first came out. However, I saw one of those Netflix minute previews and it looked interesting so I gave it a chance the other day. I enjoyed it. I thought it approached the many facets of inter and intra racial politics on campus in an evenhanded and entertaining way. It is pretty funny. Hot women semi nude but the obligatory gay story line. It's part dark comedy and part late young person drama, like it 90210 the college years was black and funny

The story line is an activist black woman on an elite college campus gets a campus radio show after being outraged over a frat black face party. But everything is not all it seems both for her personally and on campus.

The film was good, and not the "put whitey in his place" kind of plot its critics thought it would be. It was a pretty funny and thoughtful look at young people trying to make sense of who they are.

It was a film first. Series came after. Only saw the first four episodes.

ETA: Really liked the film.
