The part about 8:46 also being his time of birth, uhhh...OK? I guess that's a weird coincidence. I dont know how the two things are really related or how its supposed to be some incredible collision events that makes me gasp in shock. Or 8/24 being his birthday and Kobe's numbers. Our friend Dave may need to lay off the weed a little bit.

Speaking of Kobe, the whole way he tries to use Kobe's last game as a way to make him get over the Dallas massacre is bizarre. I dont get it, I mean I do get it that he's using other things to cope with hard realities but I dont get how it squares with the rest of his dialogue. You cant preach to us the sanctity of human life for twenty-five minutes and then immediately turn around and say "I know those nine cops died, but at least Kobe scored sixty in his last game!". If he's got that kind of contempt for police officers that he cant even summon sympathy for their deaths then he should understand as well as anyone why cops have such little sympathy for criminals.

He's so outraged at the callousness and indifference of police officers but the close out his monologue he exposes the exact same mentality with the juxtaposition of Kobe's Laker farewell and the Dallas massacre.

Its really weak. But I dont think he scripted to the be that way, he's one of the few public figures I trust. Its just bad, emotional thoughts.

It's also not factual: Kobe's game was in April while the shooting took place during that summer.

Plus Laura Ingram made that comment after that game. It was still a very powerful and moving set.

Yeah I liked the set but generally agree with the criticism of his comments on the Dallas shooting. Police murdering people is of course awful and it doesn't matter if the deceased has a shady history. There's no such thing as retroactively justifying a murder, especially when said murder occurs for reasons unconnected to the post-killing rationale. That being said, the Dallas shooting was a terrorist attack plain and simple. One could handle that event with more sensitivity.

Yea now I dont know what to make of this. He said it was unrefined and obviously it was, but damn now it's just kinda coming off like a giant steaming load of shit. Maybe Dave should've let the streets keep doing the talking.

I watched it a second time.

I agree with him using the numbers to tie to himself to this as being weird and irrelevant.

You were born at 8:46? Same number as the time it took to kill George. Umm...so fucking what? Why does that matter? Who the hell knows what time they were born anyway.

And the Kobe portion was weird as well. 8-24 is his birthday. So what? That didn't really matter either. Him bringing up Kobe scoring 60 in his last game made no sense either. Who cares about that?

Other than those two things, it was excellent.

Nope. That was the good stuff. Uncut. Literally from his backyard.

If you’re focused on him getting the date of Kobe and the Grammy’s wrong you may as well have not watched.

He shouldn't have made that mistake about Kobe and the Grammy's. But that's no big deal in my mind. It was just stupid to bring up Kobe in the first place. Like I said, who cares? There is no significance to that with what's going on.

The Lebron stuff was good. And I liked that he called that FOX lady a "C.unt" and a "B.itch" for telling Lebron to "Shut up and dribble".

How wildly disingenuous is it to read that whole post and then say my primary complaint is that he mixed up dates.

I never said that was your primary complaint. It's just something I wanted to comment on. That's all. Jeez.
