Speaking of Kobe, the whole way he tries to use Kobe's last game as a way to make him get over the Dallas massacre is bizarre. I dont get it, I mean I do get it that he's using other things to cope with hard realities but I dont get how it squares with the rest of his dialogue. You cant preach to us the sanctity of human life for twenty-five minutes and then immediately turn around and say "I know those nine cops died, but at least Kobe scored sixty in his last game!". If he's got that kind of contempt for police officers that he cant even summon sympathy for their deaths then he should understand as well as anyone why cops have such little sympathy for criminals.

He's so outraged at the callousness and indifference of police officers but the close out his monologue he exposes the exact same mentality with the juxtaposition of Kobe's Laker farewell and the Dallas massacre.

Its really weak. But I dont think he scripted to the be that way, he's one of the few public figures I trust. Its just bad, emotional thoughts.
