No. It just made me think about a couple things.

I originally watched a CNN segment breaking down the footage with an expert, but curiously they neglected to show this part of the video.

What does this picture show?
Rayshard Brooks holding what appears to be a taser after cops were contemporaneously shouting that he was grabbing at their taser and eventually that he had gotten a hold of their taser.

So what?

I watched a video of two cops struggling with him. He grabs a taser and squirms out of their grasp and starts to run away.

How does this justify killing him?

So what?

He didn't grab their gun. He didn't grab their bag of ricin. He didn't grab their blaster. He didn't grab their light saber.

He grabbed a taser and ran.

The cops remained in possession of the guy's ID and his plates and his fucking car.

How is anyone arguing justification to shoot this guy?!

I don’t think we are. I thought we were talking about stuff.

So what do you think should happen from the point of Brooks arming himself with an officer's weapon and fleeing? Let him go and hope to find him later?

It also appears that Brooks pointed the taser at officers.

It doesn't help the hold police accountable thing when you misrepresent what took place here. All you need to add there is the cop was wearing a white hood and robe and then posed with the body for a selfie after the deed was done.

Eye witness:

I obviously agree that lifting a taser off a cop doesn't merit an execution.
So what would you like police officers to do when a suspect physically resists arrest then arms himself with one of their weapons?

Let's get specific.

Grabs nightstick and runs away?...maybe chase, certainly not shoot.

Grabs taser and runs away?...maybe chase, certainly not shoot.

Grabs gun and runs away?...chase, certainly not shoot in the back.

Once again, they have his ID, they have his car.

Did you watch the video of the white guy I posted. He squirmed away from two cops, jumps in one of their vehicles and drives off. Should they have immediately just shot and killed the guy?

If you believe that these incidents justified killing the suspects, you are a big part of the problem.

I’m not a part of any problem . I don’t get arrested and if I did , I wouldn’t resist nor try and obtain one of the officers weapons . Problem solved .

So nothing. You think the cops should do nothing when someone physically resists arrest, arms themselves with the officer's weapon, then points the weapon at officers?

Also Jet, as you can see you Boomer piece of shit, Brooks wasn't "shot in the back" in the sense that he never saw the engagement coming, HE ENGAGED OFFICERS WITH THE TASER, and then was shot by the pursuing officer.

I'm all for shooting if the dude grabs your gun. Your bad in that one if you die. So disagree with you there.

Well at least we know the answer to the question of why didn’t they just taser him .

I know that you are joking, but punching and beating someone who is "resisting" is legal pretty much everywhere.

Hilarious that we've gotten to the point that people are unironically arguing that police shouldn't shoot at people who grab an officer's weapon. It'd be more honest for these imbeciles to just say they hate cops and think cops deserve every bad thing that happens to them.

in my limited experience, the nightstick to the ribs (mighty mouse lady cop) or the whack-your-noggin-against-the-frame-of-the-car-door while they put you in the backseat move happens after the cuffs are already on or your one-arm bolted to the wall in a holding cell.

Shooting at appendages is how you get bystanders killed/maimed.

seem to recall Amber Guyger's defense explaining how police are trained to aim center mass at all times, same as soldiers.

So we've determined that you don't think officers are justified in shooting someone who violently resists arrest and takes their weapon and assaults them with it, but I want to know: When ARE police justified in shooting a suspect in your simple mind? If it isn't when a suspect grabs their weapon and assaults them with it...when is it ever justifiable?

See, I agree with JLN here. If you're going to pull the trigger, intend to kill.

I just think the point of no return is a lot higher than what we're seeing, time and time again.
