Seems like a nice pickup for the Clippers if their SG options are Cat Mobley and Gordon. At the very least a spark off the bench. Meanwhile probably was going to struggle to find playing time in Oakland

What happened to Akubuike last season? I thought he was supposed to basically replace Richardson and he got off to a hot start and didnt seem to do much as the season progressed.

Why wouldn't he? He can sign a 1 year deal this off-season, and then bank on another team giving him $10 million+ as a free agent. Teams haven't been exactly frugal when they have money to spend, and if he does average around 20 points a game next season, he could get more than what the Bulls offered. It would all depend on who's got cap room, and, obviously, what their needs are.

bottom line, I don't think he'll get what he wants...he's obviously best as a sixth man, despite his desire to start...

If a player like Beno Udrih, who I like for what he is, can get the full MLE, Childress should too. And I dont know how glorified he is. He's a good 6th man.
