After telling people for months that if you go out you’re committing genocide against people 70 plus , giving them 4k to travel seems a little... odd.

I don't think I'd spend 4k right now, certainly not on travel. And where are they going to get 4k from to give to us?

They're going to deduct it from the free school lunch fund.

In a matter of hours people went from saying it was literally murder to leave the house to sanctioning riots. There's really no amount of hypocrisy that people are unwilling to abide.

It's 2020. Nothing odd about it.

Sure..if ya are cool with a gallon of milk @ 6$ and a gallon of gas @ 4$ next year. The wages won't raise with inflation.

The American dollar is backed by the price of energy and the price of energy is backed by the combined strength of the US military, which is so overwhelming that it likely is greater than the rest of the world combined.

There will be no inflation.

 there is going to be crazy inflation. our debt and deficit is completely fucked. and we destroyed the micro economy. its not showing right now because 30% of the population is on state and federal aid. the federal runs out next month and the state will be in the fall. shits gonna be bad.

The unemployment subsidy is ultimately unnecessary and probably causing more problems than it is solving. They'd end it now if they could, but that's politically untenable.

At the end of the day the type of inflation that people associate with Zimbabwe or Wiemar Germany is not really within the realm of possibility here. The petrodollar is the global reserve currency.

Delta changed my upcoming flight and today I learned that when you call customer service you get a nice message that says they are too busy to handle my call. Maybe if they want people to travel they shouldn't make it incredibly difficult to travel.

Regretfully, I had also given them a chance and they've basically stolen my money on that flight they moved.

Actually, looks like they reversed course on the expiration date so that's good.

Didn't Southwest give you like an additional 2 years to use in travel credit you might have?

Not initially.

It's still strange they can cancel my flight and not give me a refund for it because they switched me to a terrible other flight.

Correct not initially and I was pissed. Glad to see they came to their senses.

When I flew to PDX a couple of weeks ago AA e-mailed that the flight was going to be full and asked for volunteers to change to a different flight. I had flexibility so I clicked the link and there were no options for other flights given.

They want people to buy houses in affluent neighborhoods and pay for college too
