It's fine if Nas believes that but then I definitely don't want to hear a word from him complaining about Trump. I won't take it seriously. He WANTS people to vote for Trump.

TBF to Nas though, I gotta admit it's pretty hilarious hearing a Joe Biden voter talk down to someone else about wasting their vote

Back when we had multiple parties the shitshow was even worse.

Agreed.. Both are terrible candidates from terrible parties. I've been waiting for a labor party my whole life. A party that represents 90% of Americans.

You're an idiot. Voting for a libertarian is a vote for Biden. Same way voting Green party is a vote for Trump.

That's fucking stupid, like everything you post. A vote for a libertarian is a vote for a libertarian. A vote for the Green Party is a vote for the Green Party. This is all very simple stuff that even a 2nd grader is capable of understanding.

Go kill yourself.

He's kinda right. A vote for a candidate who has no chance of winning in a swing state probably isn't smart. You live in Illinois so voting your conscience is allowed.

He's wrong. It's one of those really fucking stupid things people try to say to sound "smart", when 10 seconds of critical thought exposes it as the bullshit it clearly is.

Voting your conscience in the only acceptable way to go about it. If you disagree, then it's impossible to take any complaint you have about Trump even the slightest bit seriously. You're openly advocating for people to vote for him.

Don't get so defensive. Despite your tantrum, in November you are going to vote for a candidate that you probably never heard of and know absolutely nothing about. All you know is that they are the Libertarian nominee. They may have never held a political office. That's not exactly voting your conscience. That's supporting a party.

Voting is far more complicated than supporting the person that you believe in. There aren't any trophies being passed out for supporting a candidate that can't win. Most voters supported Biden because they believed that he could win. That's a calculation that you have to make sometimes. There could also be 1 issue that matters to you and you are willing to hold your nose on everything else. Removing Trump from office is the only thing that matters to me. I'm willing to reevaluate everything else in 4 years

It doesn't if the candidate gets enough votes. In a contested election there is nothing noble about supporting a candidate who cannot win

I'm not getting defensive. I just have zero respect for your political philosophy that third party votes are wasted votes. I consider it a pretty reprehensible philosophy, and it gave us Trump. So, congrats on that I guess.

Again, anyone mildly paying attention to their personal or political history would know that they aren't close to being the same person. It's lazy groupthink and wrong.

I am going to vote for Jo Jorgenson because I agree with her positions more than Biden or Trump, and it helps that she doesn't have dementia and she's not a child molestor like those two are. Good luck with your vote though. I'm sure it will feel great voting for Uncle Joe as he loses to Trump.

They are a lot closer than you might care to think. Even down to the "delusions of grandeur" thing that both have going on.

I guess you have to twist yourself into knots to smear a candidate. You Googled a candidate who you know absolutely nothing about except she's a libertarian and that's good enough for you. So much for voting your conscience.

Nah I'm fine with that. Most people think Libertarians are some combination of useless or crazy. Got no issues with that as long as you're holding your party's nominee to similar scrutiny and sounds like you do.

I try but I will be the first to admit that I was in the tank for Hillary. I believed she was the best candidate in both 08 and 16, but I also accepted and understood that she was flawed too.

With Biden I too was a fan in the early to mid 90's. This even though I knew of his plagiarist past. Back then he was the darling of the talk show circuit. Never met a camera that he wouldn't floss for. Literally. The more that I paid attention the more that I realized that there really wasn't much there there.

Til now he was washout as a Presidential candidate. His status and profile was upped by his affiliation to Obama. Particularly so with black voters but to me he is the same fraud that I remember from back then.

He is preferable to Trump but so is a cankersore.

They are a lot closer than you might care to think. Even down to the "delusions of grandeur" thing that both have going on.

I know you aren't a Biden guy, but Hillary is far closer to Trump than Biden is

Nah I'm fine with that. Most people think Libertarians are some combination of useless or crazy. Got no issues with that as long as you're holding your party's nominee to similar scrutiny and sounds like you do.

No one else here who generally votes Democrat has criticized them more than me. This election is about removing a dangerous and hate-filled man. That instantly makes the country better.

If that's all this election is about then I think it's a poor strategy on your part to encourage people to vote for Trump if they would instead prefer to vote third party.
