I thought the paramedics gave him the ketamine?

They did, to sedate him...after he had already passed out.

Everyone knows the best time to sedate someone is when they're unconscious.

It's bad, but there were almost 1,000 annual murders in Chicago in the 70's.

Apply the same scenario to lives lost in Iraq and Afghanistan as well

There is also less people now and technology is much better than 1992 or 1974.

And no one in their right mind actually believes the numbers put out by the city are accurate.

is this the first guy to be strapped with an AR-15 while wearing a collared pink shirt? trailblazer! and a victory for short guys.

another note: if that is indeed their dwelling, you think you could afford to install a fence like every other rich homeowner?

Funny that people fail to mention this was on a private street that the mob had no permission to access.

The house that Busch built. It's really quite impressive, particularly on the inside.

I believe the iron gate protecting the neighborhood was breached.

If a protestor was armed with a concealed carry, would they have been justified in shooting at the couple?

I’m conceding the protestors were trespassing In the neighborhood at the time but I don’t believe they were on the guys property. They werent attempting to gain access to his house when he brought the gun out. At the point they are pointing guns at protesters, could they use stand your ground to shoot for being threatened?

I think the fact they are trespassing negates the stand your ground law. But Juice is the internet lawyer not me.

I would agree if they escalated the situation. But the homeowners are escalating the situation to the point of deadly force. Paging Darkside.

And you're always ready to be stupid enough not to realize that there WAS a barrier to the street, which the mob broke through to gain access.

Pretty peaceful for a "mob". Looks like the gate may have been open.

The gate was UNLOCKED?! That's basically an invitation to enter, right? I mean yeah a door or gate is a barrier that implies a desire for the owner to not want someone to enter, but an open lock overrides that.
