I followed this horrible story. Monster Sanders murdered mom Andrea Urban in Hinsdale. I read about it in the Tribune when it still allowed online comments. Sanders family held a few press conferences pleading what a fine young man he was, and him doing this was virtually impossible. He was a church goer. Needless to say when the evidence broke, the family went silent.

The pawned ring is mentioned in the article. But, the police pieced together video from home & business security cameras nailing him. He parked in downtown Hinsdale wearing a fluorescent utility worker vest to gain entrance. Pieced together video tracked him from where he parked to Andrea Urban's home. He remembered her and where she lived when he was a kid and he was dumped in Hinsdale to sell charity candy door to door.

Terrific police work! RIP Andrea. Hopefully Sander's life in prison is a living hell.
