I don't think it was a GOTCHA moment at first.

I think NASCAR's initial statement and the way that it was played up has made MANY skeptical.

NASCAR waited 3 days to say this was a pull rope and 6 days to release the picture of the "noose", all while using the moment to transform its image in the eyes of a lot of people.

So no Jimmie at the Brickyard due to Covid and it breaks his streak of 600-something races in a row. If he is out for a couple weeks I'd love to see Jeff Gordon get in the car at Bristol for the all-star race. Drivers used to race into their 50s all the time. Gordon is 48. ,

This week you'll see the same guys as last week be the contenders since Pocono and Indy are similar race tracks. So Harvick, Hamlin, the Penske Cars, and Kyle Busch will be your favorites.

I don't think he'd be competitive but he has logged over ten thousand laps at Bristol and is one of the best of all time. He wouldn't embarrass himself. I highly doubt it happens but as a Gordon fan I'd love to see it.

A surprisingly good Brickyard 400. A couple bad ass 3-wide passes including Harvick's that nearly went to the grass. While I picked the winner in our family pick-the-winner contest, my Draftkings picks continue to be awful. Jones, Blaney, Buescher, and Newman all had issues and either DNFed or finished laps down. Ever since Nascar came back my picks have been terrible and I have only won 1 week. I am only playing 50-50 pools. I am not picking Erik Jones the rest of the year.
