I would have no issues with Black Lives Matter if it were simply about police reform. If you read their mission statement I know there is a lot of shit there that you disagree with. And I know sometimes we support things that we don't agree with 100% because the central goal is so important, but in this case I think the central goal is being obscured.

The small group of grifters and Kaepernicks aren't responsible for 99.99% of the rallies around the country. Those are put together by local groups of all colors who simply use the slogan. I personally wouldn't support the Kaepernicks of the world for anything because they aren't for anything except elevating their profiles.

It does. Based on their website they have 14 in this country. They're literally just web addresses (some don't work and some chapters don't have one) and multiple Gmail email addresses. Where are the phone numbers or physical locations? Michigan has 3 Chapters and Boston and South Bend have 1. Have you heard of anything significant happening in those places? It's just an attempt by a few grifters to appear to be bigger than they are.

Why would he be? I mean, Im sure he was going to sucker punch the first 12 year old he came across , not the first white 12 year old.

but while we're on the subject of not being charged with a hate crime , neither was this guy . Im sure in this case he was going to sucker punch any Macys employee he came across, not just a white one.

Welp, I don’t think our justice system is lacking in charging and dare I say over sentencing black males.

Guess what this guy isn't being charged with?

Why do you want him charged with a lesser felony?

Quote:
And, then there's this ... the CGPD says the public's "understandably expressed a desire to see Moore charged with a hate crime" but they say "this charge would only apply if the assault was categorized to a lesser degree, which would not be in the best interest of seeking true justice for the victim."

Are "lesser included offenses" only a thing for murder? Seems like if they thing he's committed some aggravated version of the offense, he has also committed the base offense which can be classified as a hate crime.

There would be no need to charge a lesser offense. The age of the victim (which makes it aggravated under MO law I assume) should be pretty easy to prove.

Should the people who painted the "mural" in the first place be charged? Doesn't it seem like we're setting up a two-tiered justice system based on the political ideologies of the perpetrators and/or victims?

So it is only now that this 'two-tiered" system has been "set up" aye?
