It was an official no hitter on the books until Faye Vincent changed the rule that you can't have a no hitter count if you lose (i think??). I think that was a bullshit change of the rule as any pitcher should deserve a no hitter win or lose

Sammy Sosa cranked one in that game, but the wind was blowing in so hard that it turned into a fly-out. It was definitely headed for the upper deck.
