Is the Miami metro PD the most incompetent fictional police department in tv history? It’s gotta be.

Without a doubt.

It’s amazing they got 3 or 4 very good seasons out of that show.

First season was great. Second season was ok. The rest was bad and worsening.

To each is own tho.

The one with Tom hanks talentless son was the nadir of the series.

Yeah the later seasons aren’t great but that one is especially bad

At least it answered the age old question of "can a TV show or movie with Edward James Olmos in it really be total dog shit?" Yes. Yes it can.

What was up with Dexter marrying his sister? Maybe a Florida thing

It’s kinda funny that a consistent theme across all the seasons is everyone telling Deb what a good cop she is and she’s actually a pretty terrible cop throughout the show that fails upward

You know why it was the best? Because Dexter's wife bought the farm. What a giant pain in the ass she was. Thank you John Lithgow

Season 4 was the show's best, but yeah everything after that was pure shit.

Yea, Trinity was good. I would say Season 1 and then Season 4.

FWIW I would rank them

1. Season 2
2. Season 1
3. Season 4
4-7. Seasons, 3, 5, 7, 8
8. Season 6

I guess they do. Don't know where the story will go, but I'll watch.

One of my top 3 shows of all time.

I’d go:

S4 (trinity)
S1 (Ice truck)
S3 (loved jimmy smits)
S5 (soft spot for the comically ridiculous Jordan chase)
S7/8 (Hannah McKay)
S7/8 (Hannah McKay)
S2 (Lila looked like walking syphilis)
S6 (Tom Hanks non-racist, talentless son)

Almost through two seasons. Highly recommend a rewatch.

New, hopefully non shitty season coming out later this year.

Content being what it is these days, I’ll relive the bad seasons for a glimpse at the good.

content being what it is these days? There's so much good TV out there it's literally impossible to see it all unless you're unemployed.
