Christopher Nolan’s first trailer for his new movie debuted last night to the surprise of everyone before “Hobbs & Shaw”.

Apparently, it’s a time traveling spy thriller.

Looks like another Christopher Nolan movie I won't understand.

They played a 4-5 minute excerpt of this before Star Wars. Really got me hooked.

So far I’ve found this on time travel inversion:

The term refers to the time it takes a seismic wave to travel into the subsurface, reach a reflecting boundary and return to the surface.

Quote:
Christopher Nolan Says He Crashed a Real 747 in ‘Tenet’ Because It Was Cheaper Than Using CG

Christopher Nolan isn’t giving away any secrets about his latest film “Tenet,” but he was proud to boast about a stunt in which the crew blew up a real 747 plane because he said it would actually be cheaper than doing the same stunt with CGI.

The latest trailer for “Tenet” concluded with a scene in which a grounded plane crashes into a hangar, and Nolan explained in a recent interview with Total Film that the stunt wasn’t a model or a replica and especially wasn’t digitally made.

“I planned to do it using miniatures and set-piece builds and a combination of visual effects and all the rest,” Nolan told Total Film. “We started to run the numbers… It became apparent that it would actually be more efficient to buy a real plane of the real size, and perform this sequence for real in camera, rather than build miniatures or go the CG route.”

What's the big deal? Tenet will have every screen in every movie theater to cancel out social distancing seating limitation. Cmon Nolan

I’m 100% sure this is not Christopher Nolan’s decision.

Cross one more thing off the list that I wanted to do but can't this year. Sucks.

Will there be a rash of great movies all released at once when theaters re open or will studios space them out? In theory 2021 should be about as great of a year for movies as there has been in a long while with everything from 2020 and 2021 all being released.

Personally, I want to see James Bond

Future President Kanye West

Yeah I'm talking business, we talking CIA
I'm talking George Tenet, I seen him the other day
He asked me about my Maybach, think he had the same
Except mine tinted and his might have been rented
You know white people get money, don't spend it
Or maybe they get money, buy a business
I rather buy 80 gold chains and go ig'nant

Just got back from the movie. I give it a 6.5 out of 10. An old lady stole my reserved seat and acted all confused until I walked away.

Is this like one of those amazon reviews where someone gives the product a low score because of some shipping mistake, or was the movie slightly above average?

LOL I thought it was interesting but a step down from Nolan's previous movies. Still better than 90 percent of the garbage out there. Did you see it?

Not yet.

I hope I can find a way to see the film before it leaves theaters.

This is the Nolan-iest film ever made. Its way more Nolan than Inception or Interstellar.

You'll assuredly lose track of what the fuck everyone is talking about a couple times, but usually you can catch up. I think it may have been a little too ambitious. The lead is stiff at times and there are some really questionable bits of the plot and dialogue that just seem stupid. Other than that though its good.

I actually like that its too ambitious. At least someone out there is trying to make something original.

So it wasn't as good as La La Land from your perspective?

I finally watched this today. I think I spent more time watching YouTube videos trying to explain what happened in the movie than I did actually watching the movie. There were some really cool moments as only Nolan can film them, but damn, couldn't hear a damn thing they were saying. I know he likes "natural sound" and it didn't really matter what they were saying because it's not like it would explain what was happening. But just a little context would have helped. I don't really buy the Max was Neil theory either.
