it wasn't all that much fun. The day after, I got up to go to work and the underside of my car was all tore up. I was dragging something too as I was driving down the highway. I ended up talking to one of my buddies who was in the car with me, and evidently after one of the lawn jobs I had driven either on or next to railroad tracks like they did in Groundhog Day and it ripped up the bottom of my car. I don't remember what I told the mechanic, but it wasn't the truth. I guess an $800 repair bill was better than a DUI.

In third grade, I cheated on my history exam. In fourth grade, I stole my uncle Max's toupee and I glued it on my face when I was Moses in my Hebrew School play. In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog... when my mom sent me to the summer camp for fat kids and then they served lunch I got nuts and I pigged out and they kicked me out.

But the worst thing I ever done: I mixed up all this fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then, t-t-then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa - and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. And I never felt so bad in my entire life!

I was hoping for a better tractor story.

Mixing benzos with booze. Things could have turned out much worse than they did.

I used to pinch and occasionally sat on a retarded girl in pre school. I didn't know she had mental problems. I just thought she was being mean to people when she acted out. I wish someone sat me down to tell me what was up. I don't know why it sticks with me but in retrospect me acting the way I did probably broke her parents hearts as they were trying to socialize her for a few years before regular schooling started. I really hate myself for it.

I fear I'm a bad parent and I've messed up my children for life. They seem ok but it just get the feeling like every flaw in their character is attributable to me. The truth is its a character flaw of my own to even think that way. Narcissistic

This is far more common than you may think.

The things about my children that drive me the craziest are the things I don’t like about myself.

MANY parents don't see that.

It was quite an eye opener for me when I finally realized this. And a real gift of wisdom as well.

Yeah, I would have remembered you for sure if you asked that at Ickes or Stateway.

Marrying a Choctaw or listening to jazz fusion.

Depends on the day.

Destroyed a car, started a riot (more like a disturbance) in a small town, and managed to flee unscathed (thanks to the rioters) from the cops in 1993. That's the worst I will admit to.

we were hiking in VA at this park in teh mountains. at the top of the mountain is a lake that you can fish at. its a pretty cool place. now you can also drive all they way up to this lake. But there were trails that led up to it. We got up to the top and there was a guy standing on this little rickety dock fishing. he was like 40 maybe? buddies dared me to go mess with him. i walked onto the doc and saw it was only like 3-4' deep. asked him how fishing he said it was ok and then i shoved him into the water and ran.

I have one more.

When we were in college at the mess hall they had this kitchen counter were they'd set silverware trays on and then would set the roll up doors on top of the trays. you would put your silverware in the trays and the workers in the kitchen would pull up the door and take full trays back to where they washed them. we sat probably 20-30 yds away from the door. I sat with a group of guys that were probably not the greatest guys. What they would do is when they'd see someone walking to check the trays (you could see their shadow in the sliver of spece between the tray and the door, would chuck an apple at the door it would make a loud bang and scare the crap out of whoever was behind the door. Hardy har har right? well they finally convince me its my turn to chuck an apple. a guy comes walking. i can see his shadow. i rear back and chuck the apple just as the guy swings the roller door up and the apple catches him right square in the forehead. down goes frazier. tray and all. i lobbed it so it couldn't of been terrible. I felt awful. not awful enough to not quickly gtfo of there but awful none the less.

The guy was back at it the next day not any worse for wear so i was able to sleep that night.
