He's pitched alright. His biggest mistake was the 1 pitch up and over the plate to Gamel. Then he held him at 3rd with nobody out. Cubs need Yu to go 5.

Fascinating how Heyward has stretches where he's basically trying to keep his head above water he's so overmatched. He'll be under the gun in a 60 game season. See how he takes the pressure.

Bad base running by Caratini cost them a run. Should of been a double. Nice of the Brewers to show the Cubs how to correctly do a run down.

If Ross wants to let people know this is his team now and not Maddon's, just like he made the decision to start Hendricks instead of Lester on opening day -- Heyward needs to be on the bench tomorrow. This is embarrassing. Put Almora in, Nico, someone from the minors. I don't care.

Didn't Heyward buy David Ross an upgraded hotel suite for every road game in 2016? These guys were locker neighbors when Heyward was a rookie with Atlanta in 2010.
