Grandal couldn't even get strikes called strikes. Weird. I wonder why.

The umpire called a fair game but he was a hitter's umpire and didn't call pitches on the edges strikes particularly the low strikes on breaking pitches. That forced the Sox pitchers to give in and you just can't do it with hitters like the Twins.

Its not an excuse just an observation. Each umpire has their own version of a strike zone and this guy called a tight strike zone which is okay as long as it is the same zone for both teams. That's why I said that he called a fair game.
