Lotta sloppy play at the end of these games. Portland throwing the ball away with an easy chance to W. Morant stepping out of bounds and turning it over. Then Derozan goes to the line for 2 shots, up 3 and misses both.

Derozan makes 2 after Grizzlies tie it up on Jackson 3. Jackson now the Grizzlies closer? Hit a pair of last minute 3's to keep Memphis in the game. They called the final play for Jackson to try another 3 and he missed, Spurs 108-106

Spurs making a run at the 8th seed play-in

I don’t remember if it is LTG or someone else who is big on Michael Porter Jr, but this kid can really play offense.

Defense is a work in progress tho.

Everyone was big on MPJ's talent, but the only one who was big on MPJ's back is his surgeon who just put in a nice pool and started a college fund for his kids based on being MJP's doctor. 2 spine surgeries before the age of 19 is no joke. Especially when you want to start a career that involves daily pounding on your back.

That and Houston having heart late are the shocks of the bubble so far.

Adebayo and Dragic listed as questionable for the Heat today? Twitter saying Dragic will play, but limited minutes. No word on Adebayo

Still have the Heat. Can't expect Lowry to shoot like he did Saturday versus the Lakers.

I'm going to roll with the Raptors. Nick Nurse is a helluva coach and their team is much better than people think. Everyone knows their role and the interesting thing is that they are doing it without high draft picks. That's rare.

Nick Nurse = Belichick of the NBA.

Give Nurse Brett Brown's roster and the Sixers aren't giving up a 50 spot to TJ Warren.

I agree. Brett Brown has to be launched. Made a big deal out of moving Simmons to the 4 only to scrap it by Halftime the other night. His rotations are terrible too.

I was wrong about him as a coach 3 years ago.

I haven't gotten really into the NBA restart yet but it is nice to have the games on in the background while working

Raptors W and cover the 3.5.

More mistakes closing out games. Gasol missing the front-end on a potential ice FT. Butler having a mismatch with Lowry guarding him in the post and deciding to pass and throwing it away.

Butler had a dunk if not for Lowry grabbing his left arm.

But you can expect Lowry's superb acting skills to make up for it!

Nuggets ML easy money.

Michael Porter Jr starting. He can be a game changing offensive player for them. If not this year then definitely next.

Quick 8 points out the gate today.

With my White Sox in full bloom, I can only deal with my Heat and the other top 3 East teams until the playoffs.

Yeah I will be following the Sox a little more closely this year too. Caught the game the other night and the young guys that they have are for real. Great to see that all of the young hitters that they have been counting on are now up.

yea...i've always considered baseball and basketball my 2 favorite sports and on any given day it's a coin flip as to which is #1
But since both have returned, i'm finding myself a lot more interested in baseball, which probably does have a lot to do with the fact that the Sox are exciting.

Yeah baseball has been a lot easier to get into for me as well.

Honestly, maybe Nardi was right about the phrases on the back of the jersey.

well it's also the 3 teams i've followed most in recent years are dogshit and not playing (Bulls, Wolves, Warriors)

the first couple games i watched almost seemed like scrimmages, a lot of sloppy play. But i would imagine as we get further in that will improve

I'm actually a bigger Sox fan than I am a Bulls fan but I like basketball more than baseball at this stage of my life.

I grew up a Diehard Sox fan but I haven't watched all that much over the past 5 years. Still read up on them and followed all of the moves that they have made.

Its probably tough to watch the NBA in August but I like the neutral site thing (even if it's by default) I hope the NBA considers going to this in the future like the NFL does with the Super Bowl. Make the NBA finals a Neutral site matchup like the NCAA:does with its tournament.

That would drum up a lot more interest in it imo.
