Its fairly brutal. I like Dempster in much smaller quantities, and pre game and post game is more than enough. Hes really not adding anything and he's a distraction.

The blond is a little thick but if she dressed sluttier she'd be fine. The dark haired one serves no purpose.

Dempster adds no value. He gives Len a chance to go take a shit during the fifth inning. It is not his fault, the only good three man booth is the Mets, and they've been together for years.

But they do two interviews in the 3rd, and then Dempster for the 4th through 6th. That's half the fucking game. Let Dempster do the 4th on TV, the 5th on the radio with Ron and the 6th with Pat.

The worst thing is that with the road broadcasts being remote, he will be on all the fucking time.

Is Dempster that popular with Cub fans that they want him in the booth for a 1/3 of the game? I haven't felt that he has added much in the games I've watched. I don't mind changing things up a little with the broadcast but Dempster isn't the answer in my opinion. I did like Kelli Crull even if she did wear too much eye makeup.

I just heard Dempster say that Chatwood "spiraled downhill," which is right there with Jesse's "snowballed right down the toilet." I've been trying to finger-trace how one spirals on an incline.

I agree. It's too many fucking people. Two guys can do a game. Just have one of the girls be the sideline reporter. That's it. That's all you need. You don't need Dempster. He can be the post game guy.

I agree about the suits. I was thinking they're just doing it for opening weekend of the brand new network. We'll see. But it's 90 degrees on a local broadcast. Let them where golf shirts.

My suspicion is that the insistence on suits and the overstaffing of the broadcast booth are both coming from the same place, which is that executive they hired from the YES Network. YES telecasts are also ridiculously stuffed with analysts, where you have Michael Kay and a revolving cast of Ken Singleton, Al Leiter, Paul O'Neill, John Flaherty, and I think like another three or four guys I've forgotten who all cycle in and out, such that you never know who's working any inning of any game. And of course, because they're the GLAHRIOUS New York Yankees, they all have to wear suits. Ay, oh, ooh, ayy, ohhh, wear a suit and tie to Work like a man, ay, ohh! I don't think anyone has looked to the Yankees for broadcasting greatness since Mel Allen, so I don't know why the Cubs would, except that the Cubs are kind of stupid.

No Grace was on during one of the exhibition games.

I ended up using the alternate audio feature of MLB.TV and have Pat and Ron over the TV video feed.

at least he knows when to keep his mouth shut. i dont think he even said something from the 5th to the 9th. didnt know he was even there and thought his segment was over until he chriped up in the 9th.

He skyped in from Arizona and sounded every bit of it. I know this is a wacky season, but demanding your largely offscreen announcers wear a suit and tie while being complacent with tin-can-phone audio for your second color guy really tells you what kind of operation Marquee is.

I remember one time in like 2010-2011 the Cubs were in a bad losing streak and Dempster comes out in-now get this- comes out in a ladies blonde wig!!
