Mine was Pete Ward playing 3rd base and a high pop up was hit in the infield. I don't remember how many runners were on base but there were two out. Pete called for the ball and kept backing up until he literally tripped on the 3rd base bag and fell backward on his ass. You could literally see that this was going to happen on the TV. YOu had to laugh even though the ball fell fair just inside fair territory. Pete was a decent hitter but one of the worst 3rd basemen I have ever seen.

Cishek sucks. His arm is shot. Cub retread.

he was great first year w/ the cubs. but i think he pitched the most innings for a reliever that year. maddon used him to death.

it showed last year as his arm was dead coming down the stretch.

this short season will help him for next season.

Melton had a foul ball in front of the dugout go off his noggin. He wasn't on the run or anything. He was camped under it and it just missed his glove and dented his forehead..
