The real issue with calling everyone who disagrees with you a racist is not the veracity of the accusation. Nor is it the "cheapening" of the accusation.

No, the reason why somebody stridently anti-racist should cut their racist-accusation-levying productivity by 99.9% is that when the liberals get into power (which will happen sooner than later) and America keeps getting worse they'll look bad. And when they look bad their opposition will look good for opposing them.
