He was awesome with the Cubs. Told this before but my grandma used to go to a game every year and she got him to sign a program for me. Still have it.

I did not realize/remember that the Pirates needed that final win over the Cubs in the last game to clinch the division. I was trying to figure out why the announcers didn't say the Pirates had clinched once the Expos had lost their game, as the final standings showed the Pirates winning by two games. Turns out the Expos only played 160 games that year. If the Cubs had won this game, the Expos would have played games 161 and then 162, and could possibly have knocked out We Are Family in a Game 163.
