He definitely is. There's been some lackadaisical play out there by almost everyone. And Ricky has to play his guys.

Ricky has fucked up quite a bit though. I know he's got a lot of injuries, but in the canyon that is Comerica Park, you need Robert in CF. DelMonico is not a cleanup hitter. Ricky has gone to the bullpen way too early a number of times.

It's a Cuban/Caribbean based team. It needs to be Abreu making that statement for it to really register.

They will finish .500 and make the playoffs, just as predicted before the season started. It's a fucked up season so although it isn't early, it IS pretty early for a guy who just joined the team to be making broad analysis.

17 games is 28% of THIS season. Thats 45 games of a 'normal' season which takes you almost to Memorial Day.

Nothing wrong with calling out poor play after over a quarter of the season has been played.
