I think whoever runs it blew the play. I don't know a single person who would argue against black lives mattering, but there are a whole lot of people who are going to quietly remove those yard signs when they find out that they're supporting an agenda that includes destroying property and looting stores.

So since they only pointed the gun and didn't fire it, it's not violence to carjack somebody. Although this story does sound kinda fishy, sounds like a way to cover up a gambling debt.

Well it depends on who is doing what. When the police are doing things, it's violence. But when people in the street are throwing rocks and fireworks at police, it's protesting.

Is it the movement or 1 person/organization? Is there 1 person who speaks for all black people or poor people? What happens if I project some of the stupidity for a guy like Chas or the president on ALL whites? I looked up and down my social media feed yesterday and only 1 person came close to defending the actions of the looters and I'm confident she is a looter.

I'm aware. I'll probably keep making this point until my ashes are being spread somewhere. Nearly all of the people who carry BLM signs, wear the gear or chant it aren't affiliated with the actual organization. Black Lives Matter is simply a slogan to them. The actual organization is pretty much a small group of grifters who don't have a physical presence anywhere and can't even pay for a domain that they can use to send and receive emails.

but I've seen some prominent people using twisted logic about corporate socialism to arrive at the conclusion that looting is just retaking wealth owed (by Gucci or Nordstrom Rack?) to the people. The driving force behind the looting - and the justification for the looting - seems to be that the ringleaders are dumbasses. Their arguments don't stand up to the most basic kind of scrutiny. That being said, I think white collar crimes like massive tax evasion and kickback schemes in politics are as morally repugnant, if not more, and certainly more economically devestating. I wish they'd get as much discussion/attention as these dumbass looters seem to generate.

For the life of me, I live in a Black community, largely went to Black schools and most of my friends are HBCU graduates and the only discussions or even references to BLM I seriously hear are on this board and largely by the biggest pos (plural) who think that it generally matters to anyone except other bigoted pieces of shit like them.
